MANY years playing lead guitar in club bands. ... Yeah... I AM smiling right now... hehehe... Those were good days.

What a blast that must have been! {^)

I used to like to go party with the local bands after the bars closed, in my wild and wanton yute in a small rowdy town. It's a wonder any of us survived. I can think of one tall guitar player, all the girls loved him (including my bar-hopping buddy). One night driving home his van ended up in a ditch, poor guy. He wasn't even a heavy drinker or druggie, just a nice kind of gentle guy. It was very sad. But on the whole .. most of us pulled through. A lot of 'em even became conservatives!!! {^)

I always was a conservative, which set me at odds with a lot of my contemporaries, constantly. Coming from a family of WWII veterans, I was schooled right, and proudly so.

RE Blast:
Yes, it was. And it paid the bills too, in addition to my day job.
