A Georgia man is facing eight charges, including DUI and reckless driving, after he allegedly handed a police officer a beer instead of his driver's license during a traffic stop early Saturday morning.
Major originality points in the "Hold muh beer" sweepstakes.

Im currently on a project just north of little 5 points. Boss and I left work and stopped at a bp in little 5...there was a dude sittin in his car in the lot...so smashed he was bobble heading...tryin to sip from a capped bottle of gin.
Right across the street sat an eatery sat an apd cruiser. We pulled across the street and pointed the drunk out to the officer...who then promptly pulled out and headed north on moreland...never checking out the drunk,

Easy mistake to make. Coulda happened to anybody. He was probably having trouble snuffing out his joint and holstering his revolver.
