Wasn't that great? First time Jack has ever told Chloe how much she means to him (at least face to face), and they could barely acknowledge it. Just a little hand squeeze before moving on. Perfect.

Comic-Con: ‘24’s Kiefer Sutherland Praises Evolution Of TV; “Still Talking” About Movie, Producer Says

When we last saw Kiefer Sutherland’s super-agent Jack Bauer on the July 14th finale of Fox’s 24: Live Another Day he was about to fly off into a very uncertain Moscow-based future. Today at Comic-Con, the actor said that “we went thorough so many ideas for that ending” and “on some level we copped out because on some level it is hard to end it.” Sutherland added that “we talked about that maybe for the DVD, we’ll have Jack take out a hand grenade and blow the Russian helicopter up — we’d never had that kind of freedom before. “

Another season of 24 isn't mentioned in the article, but reading between the lines, it seems like Kiefer is all for it, whether a "24 Movie" is ever made or not.

"Live Another Day" will be released on DVD/Blu-Ray September 30th (and I doubt that grenade scene will be included)

I don't think that would work, it would be out of character. One of Jack's classic lines is "you have my word" and killing the Russians after they released Chloe would have destroyed his credibility as a man of honor.......

Same here! I don't see what the big attraction to a "24 Movie" is anyway. It's not like a movie would be better than the show. Make another season!
