The network probably didn’t want to commit to a whole 24 episodes without knowing if there was still an audience for the show. Now that they do know, FOX and the 24 crew might be planning a second half-season for next year, with a shocking cliffhanger ending to this half. Live Another Day II could pick up right where this one leaves off.
I do want this to continue but no shocking cliffhangers for six months!
The ladies on the thread were more concerned with Audrey’s coat than with Audrey. “That coat’s ruined!” LOL

She’s a Balinese. A serious runt of her litter, about half the size of a normal cat. So we got her at a discount! Lol! She is like a little dog and will fetch etc. Rides on my son’s shoulders. Opens doors. Her name is Ciel.

Fox just announced a 24 Comic Con panel with Kiefer Sutherland and director Jon Cassar. Hopefully this means 24 is coming back next year.
Few of Fox Channel’s other programs are very successful.
24 has a rather steady 5-6 million weekly viewers.
Many of their other programs struggle to get 3 million. Fox Channel is challenging NBC as the bottom broadcast network.
The DVR and online numbers for 24 have been quite big, according to reports. The third episode saw an 87% increase in ratings with DVR, hulu, itunes, and other online viewers added. Too bad the advertisers don’t care about those ratings.
Oh I hope! Comic con? Is 24 a comic book too? If so, don’t they by law need a gay character?
