He played a good character in Maid in Manhattan with Ralph Fiennes.

awww... I loved him in “Hook” too. His comedic timing was great.
In one scene he is talking to captain hook while holding a chicken leg, and right in the middle of the conversation he takes a bite of it- I don’t know why but that always struck me as hilariously funny.
I also think one of the funniest scenes in any movie was in Ghostbusters when the three of them turn and fire at the cleaning lady’s cart... and she pokes her head around and said “what the hell are you doing?”

He was great in “The Favor, the Watch and the Very Big Fish” and “The Long Good Friday”, two very different films.

Loved him in Roger Rabbit and Mermaids. RIP, sir.

He played a convincing Churchill on a History Channel movie a while back.
He played a very convincing younger Nikita Krushchev, in that WW2 “Enemy At The Gates”, with Jude Law playing the celebrated Russian sniper opposite Ed Harris.
He shall be missed.

What a shame. He was too young to die.
Parkinson's will be cured someday...too late for Bob.
To: Riley
He was Nitkita Kruschev in Enemy at the Gates. One of his more poignant roles in an American film.
He will be missed. RIP Bob.

I was going to mention The Long Good Friday as well. That was an incredible one that very few people have seen.

Big time lefty, but loved him in “Mona Lisa” with Michael Caine. I HATED “Who Framed Roger Rabbit.”

I was going to mention The Long Good Friday as well. That was an incredible one that very few people have seen.Pierce Brosnan was menacing in a way he's never been in the Bond movies.
