No one sleeps in my bed unless I’m married to it.

But given the rapid change in marriage laws, I may just soon be able to marry Mr. Whiskers.

(I’m so confused!)

My animals are welcome to sleep on the bed with me. As long as they are clear that it's not a grooming station, gym, puke bucket, or platform for an animal operatic solo. Sleep, or get flying lessons.

Do you let your pet sleep in your bed with you?

Let?

I've got cats. There is no "let."

Bulldog (100 lbs) gets to sleep in bed.

Mastiff (205 lbs) does not.

I use my two cats (one at a time) like Teddy bears. They used to not like this.

On a cold night, they keep me warm.

And they have come to appreciate the Teddy-bear-approach-to-being-a-cat

Also, my cats like to kill flying insects like mosquitos. So having them near me will keep me from getting bitten while I am sleeping.

The dog is welcome to sleep with our children but there are, um, grown-up things that wouldn’t happen with an audience present. Even a dog.

My wife told me right from the beginning that her dog slept with her and if I didn’t like it I could just move on. We’ve had quite an assortment of bedmates over the last 36 years. My dog even has her own pillow.

Dogs must stay on the floor.

Cats may go on anything I can sit on, but nothing more than that. Absolutely no feet or anything worse on food-bearing surfaces.

My pets have always been welcome to share sleeping quarters-both my husbands felt the same. My cats sleep on the bed, but my Husky won’t stay on a bed or couch more than a few minutes-I guess it is just too warm for all that fur from hell-she likes her pet bed or a rug...
