These guys have an incredible ability to focus their minds on what they intend to do, rather than what might happen to them. It’s very difficult to do under those conditions.
Dude is nucking futz but I agree it is a thrillride!
Been on the cycling forums for quite some time.
Proof positive adrenaline truly is a drug, and an addictive one at that.
“Faster!, Faster! - until the Thrill of Speed overcomes the Fear of Death.....
I think he hit a “Desert Tortoise”.

It's a wise man who can learn from *his own* mistakes. It's an even wiser man who learns from *other people's* mistakes.
Well, you know what they say in hospital ER's..."it's not the long fall that kills ya,it's the sudden stop at the end".
This guy will not die in bed from old age!
Real brass is saying “I don’t like the wind” - but then doing it anyway!
Actually that was me on a run down the mountain to the local watering hole! (I removed my handlebar mounted Browning Twin .50 Cals. for a bit more speed, just for this run tho..........)
I saw potential death ever 5 seconds in that video. He must have the fear gene removed...
Here’s some more, just in case.
Fun stuff, if only I was a lot younger and less sane...what I do now is considered tame, almost beginner class to these folks.
Although the human body is quite capable of mostly healing itself for “free”, pain is still present when the human body collides with the ground, especially at 25+ mph.
Nowhere near the need to puke. I found myself raising my head the whole time.

These people are NUTZ!
The only time I’ve puked during a ride is when I went OTB and broke my collarbone...the nauseau associated with the shock of hitting Gaia at over 25 mph...
I’m just too old to consider doing what they do and I rather enjoy riding vs. being laid up trying to recover from some dumb a$$ maneuver that wasn’t really necessary.
Saddle time is where it’s at...
Insane!
This is what you get when you take teeter totters, dodge ball and all the other things away from kids and instead have them sit on the play ground with their hands folded.
(no not really ,but ....they then will find the extreme)
Whew what a ride.
Yes, good stuff there...my local bike shop owner is a hard core downhiller and has many of their dvd’s...my wife watched all of about 2 minutes of one once...looked at me with a glare that said “Try it and you’re gonna wish you had died on that hill.”
Wide angle lenses severely distort perspective. Not to diminish the skill of the rider, but what you are seeing in this video is a vastly distorted view of what the bicycle rider experienced.
