Michael "Weiner" Savage is annoying the heck out of me, the prissy little self important prima donna started yelling at his board ops.
Seriously, I mean you hear feedback over the headset, you simply slide the headset off your ears and continue until they fix it and give you a hand signal to put your cans back on....
Savage despite calling himself an expert is quite the newbie.
And you NEVER EVER berate your board ops while ON THE AIR... EVER!!!!!
Reminds me of the overly self important bully type boss who berates his employees in front of the other employees instead of pulling them aside in private and having a reasonable discussion, even if you have to chew them out.
Having worked in a real business before this is just so unprofessional.
Just the sign of a doofus self important prima dona.
If you’d paid attention, you’d realize it was much more than mere feedback in his headphones—the show today is from a remote location and the techs completely blew it, they were not prepared to go on the air and nothing was working, callers weren’t going through, everything crashed and they had to repeatedly go to commercials and reruns. Plus his fans know he blows his stack, that’s the draw.
Listening to Weiner is bad for one’s blood pressure
AFAIK all of his locations are "remote".
It never hurts to have a plan B.
At the moment I wander around the complex in the aft. with a handme down smart phone (no phone, just the wireless) ihearted to Mark Belling in MKE. I'm not sure who else is on live 3pm to 6pm Eastern.
The Biblical Money Code doesn’t work?
In my area I receive and rank “conservative” hosts as follows:
1. Levin - Great
2. Prager - thoughtful but too sensitive about being a Jew
3. Hewitt - a bit boring
4. Gallagher - self absorbed but not scared of the race issue
5. Hannity - too moderate
6. Medved - mocking, know-it-all and GOP cheerleader
7. Savage - clown
“Callers just meander rather than getting to the point. I havent listened to radio in years.”
^This
It doesn’t have to be Rush, but when any talk show host takes a call - I change the station.
Heck, I can make over 100K/mo. for just a few hours of pounding on my keyboard in my spare time....
Aside from Rush, who is a highly-trained broadcast professional, few of these talkers have high production standards, and most are just completely unprofessional. What can you expect from former contractors, antropologists, lawyers, etc who see radio as an extension of their big egos?
It worked for me! I have the riches of Solomon now.
Content? Not so much.
Common as well as immature and tasteless. Belling in Milwaukee berates his call screener every day.
Belling and his callers were wacko on Bundy yesterday so I looking for someone in the aft to avoid Savage and Hannity (and Medved and likely others).
Phil is great. And Johnny B. I know them both living just a few miles from them.
Board ops make about a nickel over minimum wage.
You’d have to be a Grade-A Jackwagon to yell at one.
Very refreshing and down to earth host.
Radio’s O’Reilley
So much for doing a remote..
Line 2 Ray in Baltimore, HelloRay,, Ray? RAY??? Mmßhhddfjsg*******
So much for a Live show today.. Stuff happens.
That one was real. But I think a lot of the radio talk show hosts berate their staffers as part of the act.
Tell, tell! I have my code decipher in my hand now!
