A prince strips a posing group of prostitutes naked one by one as he selects a companion for the night. It sounds like a scene from a porn film, but this was the latest episode of the epic fantasy drama Game of Thrones, based on the novels of George R R Martin. The start of the gory series fourth season on Monday even managed to shock its own fans. .....................................................
Campaigners warned it could lead to young people being desensitised to content once considered shocking and being influenced by the behaviour they displayed. Miranda Suit, of Safermedia, said: What are [young girls] learning from some of these storylines?

It’s an extension of “try before you buy.” If you’re royalty, you get an extra layer of consumer protection; it’s “try before you try.” /S
There is a big difference between text and tv/film. Reading, "Jane walked into the Walmart and took all her clothes off," is very different from watching a film of Jane walking into the Walmart and taking all her clothes off. It would take a lot of words to describe everything that is seen in the situation.
Even more so, text vs. film, if the situation is, "Jane walked into the Walmart, took all her clothes off, and then had sex with Bob in the laundry-detergent aisle."
“...Freudian slip...”
Yeah, I’ve seen the clip of it. It’s not for the squeamish.
That was what she said she dreamed about.
Nice, huh? What a psycho nutjob...
you know darn well that there are probably lots of freeper men who think this is their RIGHT to have this crap available to them night and day.....
and people worry about the totalitarian govt when the very essense of people's souls are LOST and buddy, you are one of them....
what the bible says....when good is called bad, and bad, good....
It was the same way with The Tudors a few years back. I loved that series, but they had to throw two queer characters into the mix.
The books do not have much sexual description. With the exception of the marriage of Danarys and her husband in the first book. He mostly implies the sexual acts without graphic detail.
I tried to watch the series until the gay sex came up. I do not watch that. It amazes me HBO seems to be under the impression folks want to watch that trash.
"Clean up in aisle 12!"
I love Game of Thrones. Compared to the Sparticus series on Starz, the sex and violence is pretty tame.
There is some nudity, but generally its over quickly. There is a warning before each episode. It is rated TV-MA.
All that being said, I think it is the best cable drama series on TV.
She went nuts when she lost Micheal Douglas to Catherine Zeta-Jones.
Yes.
Yes it is.
The gay crap...mostly not in the books.
..is the pisser
Queers infect screenwriting with a vegence and directors allow or encourage it
I just fast forward
I find it hard to fap to, but I manage anyways.
The Red Wedding not in the books?...sure it is ..the 3th book A Storm of Swords ch 51..I just looked it up online...
I never read the books but was clued in to the tv show by some on that did read the books
I found the Red Wedding disgusting and likely written by childless abortion rights types
Agreed.
You can fast forward and tolerate GOT
But Stars Spartacus....I gave up...homo homo...yuck
The White Queen though was great
Dowton Abbey is reasonable too
GOT is more bloody than most....no question but the gratuitous homo crap bugs me most
Its pure propaganda
EGGSactly Batman. Season One had a scene where the King's Wife and her Brother (Adult incest) were making whoopie in a castle tower and a young boy who lives in the castle and likes to climb hears the two going at it while he is climbing and looks in the window. The Queen sees him and shouts in surprise so her Brother jumps up and grabs the boy. The Queen keeps saying "he saw us, he saw us" so her Brother shrugs and says "Oh the things I do for Love..." and then shoves the boy out the window to his apparent Death.
BUT NOW everyone is concerned because some Noble inspects a few harlots while they are in the nude?
The mind boggles at their selective outrage.
