The American public continues to sour on President Barack Obama's signature health care overhaul, one littered with premium hikes, policy cancellations, delays and outright fabrications.
Bryan Cranston of Breaking Bad fame thinks ObamaCare is the highlight of the president's legacy.
The actor opened up about President Barack Obama during an appearance with Yahoo News' Katie Couric.
I personally believe that his health care program is fantastic. Yes, there are problems. Anything worth while is going to go through a growing pains period. But this is his legacy and I think its a great one because I dont think that basic health care should be a privilege of the rich. It should be a right to all, said the actor.
He also applauded Obama for using executive orders to get around Congress, something the actor says other presidents like John F. Kennedy and Lyndon Johnson did when faced with political opposition. Obama, according to Cranston, should flex his executive muscle to increase the minimum wage, for example.

From the Couric interview,
Cranston: "Now is the time, to stake a claim, to leave your legacy..."
Also, Couric: "You might be getting a call from the white house saying, 'You're hired!' "

Another mindless puppet cheerleader embraces using his public persona to shill for the faker in chief.
This hit me in the gut.
(oh...and who knew Katie Couric couldn't get any work other than Yahoo News??? LOL)
Seems like he was taking the drugs he was making.
Who is Bryan Cranston and why should I care what he thinks about anything? I never watched Breaking Bad and see no reason to take anything an actor says as being worthwhile except RR, Heston, Selleck, and the others I agree with. Yes I am two faced. I like smart people despise dummies.
Cranston would have been a big fan of King George III.
I liked Malcolm in the Middle and Breaking Bad but c’mon he’s a Hollywood actor so there’s a 99% chance he’s a liberal and so he is.
Useful Idiot
I thought Breaking Bad was brilliantly done.
What that has to do with politics is beyond me.
Being a talented actor, director, or producer doesn’t mean your political opinions are worth anything special.
Cranston just lost half of his admirers. He should’ve kept his politics to himself.
When are these most brilliant people in the world (Hollywood actors) going to learn to keep their big fat trap shut?
I love his acting, but I am dissapointed he is this stupid.
As are most people in the entertainment industry. Disappointing as always when an entertainer you enjoy is a liberal, but hardly surprising.
Sure he’s a great actor, but is ignorant regarding business and economics. What I’ve always found interesting is most all of the doctors I’ve met(I work in healthcare) tend to be liberals. I’d say 85% of them voted for 0bama. Many of them regret that decision. What’s even more interesting is those from other countries were the ones that supported him the least. I’ve heard a few of them remark about how they saw similar leaders/dictators in their home countries he reminded them of, and they came here hoping to get away from it. The most notable was one that remembered Castro ascending to power, and he said the similarities with his speeches were just scary.
I agree. His work in Breaking Bad was excellent. Now he is tainted, and future review of his craft will be with the mindset that his politics are influencing his performance. Too bad.
Would he support a conservative president using executive orders to bypass a liberal congress?
Methinks not.
So, now, with this interview, he can prance around his millionaire hollywood friends and say: “see... I’m not racist.”
Wow, how disappointing.
Another fascist is born.
Hollywood actors make tons of money pretending to be someone else. Few have any expertise in running their own lives, but they are free to give their opinions which can be ridiculed or ignored.
Ronald Reagan was truly the exception to the rule.
Walter White’s been sampling his own product, I see.
Actors like Cranston can afford to live outside of the normal boundaries and are not directly affected by laws they support. Now, propose to take away the federal and state subsidies afforded the movie industry, and we might see another side of actors as their pay would be impacted. Perhaps his support is tied to political favoritism for the industry.
On top of that he’s a Dodger’s fan. That seals it, what an a******!
I haven’t watched Breaking Bad and definitely won’t now.
