Wow, how disappointing.

My base reaction, too.

I searched FR for any evidence of his liberal leanings (/s) and found nothing but fawning over his acting (Breaking Bad, in particular).

I thought it needed to be OUT THERE for everyone to share, ya know?

I don't make a habit of departing with my hard-earned $$ to visit theaters very often (disappointing across the board, to say the least) but I'm fond of iMax and 3D. I'm neither in the habit of researching principal actors before seeing/buying a movie.

However, I AM in the habit of reacting to a performer publicly engaging in progressive politics by WITHHOLDING MY $$ FROM THEIR POCKETS.

Things like this can backfire. If you think about the role this actor is known for, a ruthless, drug manufacturing, psychopathic monster.

This matters for an odd reason. There are an uncomfortable number of people walking around, who more or less equate characters they see on television with the actors real lives.

TV doctors are frequently asked medical questions, the actor who played the angel of death on the show “Touched by an Angel”, still makes a lot of gullible people shake in their boots. It doesn’t help that his name is John Dye.

So, how many of these people do you think will be sold on Obamacare by a ruthless, drug manufacturing, psychopathic monster?

“I am not a ruthless, drug manufacturing, psychopathic monster, but I play one on television!”

Stop participating in American pop culture. I only know of "Breaking Bad" because of the water cooler chat I hear occasionally.

Thankfully, I never saw a single episode, nor will I ever miss it. There is far more constructive things one can do with themselves then to watch/listen/participate in American Pop Culture. It's all about promoting liberal issues, and destroying the institutions that made this country great, nothing else.

Another slobbering Obamacult member who knows what The Won should do to all of us but will NEVER live by those same rules. The loudest supporters of Obama are the ones with the wealth to never be effected. Does anyone think Cranston will tolerate going through an exchange health program and not just pay cash? For supporting this monstrous criminal enerprise known as the Obamanistration, FU Cransten.

I enjoyed BB due to it’s twist on good vs. evil & the subtle statement(s) on the (failed) war on drugs.

Regardless, I’ll NEVER see the end of the series now; don’t care to anymore.

I hope others post when these actors choose to out themselves. I, for one, simply don’t have the time to prequalify my limited leisure/entertainment. Personal views I have no problem with; actors using their public name/face for politics have consequences and I react to that.

“Anything worth while is going to go through a growing pains period.”

Heck, ya have to break a few eggs to make an omelet. Who cares if the shattered eggs are just lives of the little peons.

“But this is his legacy and I think it’s a great one”

Bow down to Dear Leader! Seig Heil!

“because I don’t think that basic health care should be a privilege of the rich. It should be a right to all,” said the actor.”

So, you think it is an individual right for folks to demand that others offer them a service? What do you propose we do if a doctor doesn’t want to be a doctor any longer? What do you do with the nurse that has already worked 20 hours that day and wants to quit seeing those demanding her service? How about if we do not have enough doctors to meet demand? Do you propose that we mandate the “smart” class to enter medical school?

Let me summarize that for ya Brian, you can not believe that “health care is an individual right” without believing that someone else utilizes his talent, time and labor to provide that right to those demanding it. In other words, you believe in slavery! To you “to be enslaved is liberating!”

Just another mush head actor. Move along, nothing to see here.
