"Uriah Heep's origin goes back to 1967 when guitarist Mick Box formed a Brentwood band called The Stalkers, which began playing in local clubs and pubs...the name was changed to that of the well-known character from David Copperfield, Uriah Heep. They decided to widen the sound. "We'd actually recorded half the first album when we decided that keyboards would be good for our sound. I was a big Vanilla Fudge fan, with their Hammond organ and searing guitar on top, and we had David's high vibrato vocals anyway so that's how we decided to shape it,...."

They still tour or at least have in the last 2 years but they are famous for having had a number of different lineups. Good album to select.

Uriah Heep.... I never put two and two together until I read Dicken’s David Copperfield. Easy Living was their best.

Ahhh...man!!! The greatest rock band ever!! I spent my high school geometry course at the back of the room rockin to the Demons and Wizards album. I don’t know geometry nearly as well as I know Uriah Heep!

The Magician’s Birthday was my favorite, the title track has one of Mick Box’s best guitar work.

Atomic Rooster LOL. They were on the billboard for years in a little quonset hut style shack on the north side of PCH as you crossed from Long Beach to Seal Beach Ca.

Heep- The Wizard. Classic rock.

HEEP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've got all their albums but no turntable. Haven't been able to listen to them for years. I'm amazed I'm still able to sing right along with the songs right now. Listened to this album so many times, the words are seared into my memory. LOL!

First concert I ever saw was in Orlando, FL. Was probably 1974 or 1975. Blue Oyster Cult and Uriah Heep.
