I've been in meetings with people like this -- a design process or a business case analysis can be like a chess match. With much struggle, and lots of maneuvering, you can approach a solution. You say to yourself, "Three more moves! I'll checkmate in just three moves!"

This may not be as bad as they’re making it out to be. Batteries are required to be changed long before their useful life is over. Had a friend who worked for the Public Utilities Commission. He gave me bags of 9 volt batteries. They were required to change them every week, even if the testing device had not been used that week. I’d use the batteries in the same tester he used, and they lasted 9 months. And I did 4 tests every single day. Water company chlorine tester.

They need to investigate the ground crew and management around that plane weeks and years before hand.

That would be my guess now, though I haven’t been following it closely. There are simply too many gaps in how this whole investigation has gone.

Although I did read some plane that went down , took 2 years to find the box.

My thoughts. Who and what was on that aircraft that someone wanted it disappeared? Stolen Iranian passports, pictures that look photoshopped, crazy speculation. Incompetence, lack of cooperation and sensors not working.

And it’s just a coincidence that this plane vanished into the deepest reaches of the ocean in the worst weather possible.

Funny thing, there is only one country that can find this plane. And they aren’t working too hard at finding it.
