A triumphant President Barack Obama declared Tuesday his signature medical insurance overhaul a success, saying it has made America's health care system 'a lot better' in a Rose Garden press conference. But buried in the 7.1 million enrollments he announced in a heavily staged appearance is a more unsettling reality. Numbers from a RAND Corporation study that has been kept under wraps suggest that barely 858,000 previously uninsured Americans – nowhere near 7.1 million – have paid for new policies and joined the ranks of the insured by Monday night.

any repeal effort would be met with the LIE of
“kicking people out of the healthcare system”
It’s not a tax so much as it is the penalty of having the full force of all the alphabet federal agencies brought to bear against you.
The stated goal was to insure the 47 million uninsured.
Now, around 6 million people with insurance lost it due to this law, and they heave 7 million signups on the day after which you would be subject to legal penalty,
and they’re declaring victory?

I agree completely. Which is why I say that to run only on ODimwit care could keep the GOP from taking back the Senate. The time to fight this battle was a year ago. There was no coordinated effort. It was just people “shooting” wildly into the sky.
Pity we don’t elect smart leaders.
They counted Medicaid patients in state exchanges because the states converted the welfare program to what they are calling a state insurance program. In WA, the state insurance program is known as Apple Health and children are enrolled separately from their parents, greatly inflating the enrollment numbers.
lets see if the criminal liberal media treat this as they did the “Mission Accomplished” moment as obamacare continues to fail...
