When NASA astronauts were suiting up to go to space in the 1960s, they had to make a big decision before they explored the world above us: How large of a man are you?
Getting it wrong could damage the mission.

I remember back when I was in the market for such gear that there was ALWAYS a lack of Large condoms on the shelf.
YOU be the guy that goes up to the ‘SYT’ at the soda counter (after you had built up the nerve to buy 1 or a gross - dependent on how hot the date was) with a Size marked SMALL.
Would have gotten laughed out of town......
Think they tried renaming them LARGE HUGE and JUMBO but that didn’t work either....
Funny how when one were to carry a ‘wallet’ there was a ‘ring’ embedded in it (a mark of ‘honor’ as you were prepared - Maybe not knowing exactly what for but...) with a great number of the ‘items’ turning into ‘dust’ while the ‘RING’ remained intact.
