Belle Knox, the Duke University freshman paying for college by doing porn, has upped the ante this week with a new blog post on XOJane.com espousing rough sex, and a spin around a stripper pole at a New York City skin joint.
This is my first time dancing, Knox told The Post before hitting the stage Tuesday night. Im nervous, but I think itll be really empowering.
That "empowerment" line is the same one she used in her new, graphic blog post written largely about her first porn video, which included submission, name calling, and slapping.

Once the flavor from this new piece of bubble gum goes away she will be tossed in to the meat grinder of pornography. She will do harder and grosser stuff just to keep the money flowing. And when no one pays for that she will be tossed out like trash riddled with disease and likely drug problems. Even if she manages to keep it up to pay for Duke and graduate her shinanagans have destroyed all future job prospects. No company I know of will want a porn star working there. If they do hire her everyone will immediately look her up and see her in pornos leading to sexual harassment claims. So what can she do? More and more porn. She wasn’t model material but porn is happy to consume her. Porn producers have her convinced she’s empowered, but she’s just another dumb piece of meat to them. She is on a dangerous path.
I’m sure Eve thought she was being empowered when she took that apple. I think there is a direct correlation here.
I'd empower it.
The girl is pretty... ugly. In my opinion. No wonder why she loves the attention.
Don't know. But Amanda is hotter.
“I dont remember great-grandmas generation being like that.”
Because the public expression (or even discussion) of female sexuality was pretty much forbidden by society until very recently.
Deep down most people have always had the same basic desires. Most were just completely private about it and lived the simple monogamous life that leaders of society dictated (at least publicly). Historically there were even criminal punishments for deviating from the norm.
Yet, underground clubs and private sexual parties for high society (powerful men and hot women) were around in your great grandma’s day and long before that.
You can’t really listen to what women say when it comes to sex, only what they do in private. So much of what women express in public is false and governed by male-controlled society rules.
For better or worse, women today are beginning to openly express their deep desires that were suppressed for most of history.
“Which is why I dont date anymore.”
Fine, stay home then. More chicks for me.
No, she was likely the victim of an abuser and deserves more compassion than you are apparently willing to give her.
Yeah chicks. But one day you’re just gonna want a chick, one you can trust, and you’re going to find they ain’t out there.
What you describe used to be known as the fringe. Mature ladies and gentleman got together for real reasons, not because that’s what society wanted, but because that’s what they wanted, because they were taught right. And we had societal stability, because people had their heads on straight. And alot of people were alot happier.
What we have now is Lord of the Flies. People just reverting to base desires, never growing up out of adolescence. You can have your toy girls to play with, there’s no appeal in that anymore.
Can you believe that? We have friends who’s daughter graduated from Michigan with a degree in Women’s Studies. They’re not happy that she can’t find a job besides a receptionist in her friend’s father’s car dealership. It takes all I can muster to keep my big mouth shut.
What did they expect? How many want ads are there for Women's Studies graduates? Maybe a few as HR people, as few teaching discrimination seminars.
It used to be that Liberal Arts graduates could go into management, back when the course load involved being able to read large amounts of complex material, understanding what you read well enough to generate a viable opinion, and write lucid essays explaining your evaluation and thoughts about the material, but that's no longer the case.
I think there were always few people of that type and most were just fitting the mold enforced by society. They never truly understood why society had those standards, only that others would look down on them if they rejected them. Rules without understating breed unhappiness and many people felt confined. Especially women who could barely leave the home. Mental illness among housewives in industrial society was always common and even talking about it was stigmatized.
Most people are driven by base/material desires and will do anything to feed those desires when they think nobody is looking. It's the same game that's been going on for millennia.
Women for us who see beyond the game and willing to be true partners are still out there. But if you give up, I guarantee your chance of meeting one is zero.
