Dirty Harry?
Top?
What do they mean.
I guess it’s just their opinion on the best movies of that decade.
Deer Hunter was the most pretentious for sure. Godfather most overrated.
Jaws - was it even a good movie? Not really.
I can barely remember the 70s (yep. the early part was that good). I’d actually have to go back and look at the IMDB to make up my list.
Holy Grail
Blazing Saddles
Young Frankenstein
You didn’t like Jaws?!
First movie I thought of was The Sting. I’d probably put that as a replacement to #5 on your list.
Dirty Harry.
Grease.
Godfather 2, should be on the list. I prefer it over part 1, but 1 had the impact.
The Conversation.
M*A*S*H
Dirty Harry, Outlaw Josie Whales, Thunderbolt Lightfoot, Play Misty for Me,
Clockwork Orange and Taxi Driver really weren’t all that good.
Dirty Harry is a better film than either of those. I saw it recently and was actually surprised at how it holds up with age. Very good period piece.
Used Cars?
Smokey and the Bandit?
Any Which Way but Loose?
Star Wars?
Of course it's their opinion, and they invite you to give yours. :)
It’s not my list. It’s WatchMojo.com’s list.
