A Yemeni man returning to his village through a jungle late at night phoned his wife to tell her that he was being devoured by a hyena.

The man, in his 50s, was walking back home through a forest in the western Yemeni province of Rima when he was intercepted by a hyena.

He phoned his wife and told her the predator was attacking him and could eat him, newspapers said, adding that his wife quickly sent their sons to search for him.

“When the sons reached him, it was too late. They only found the head and feet of their father,” the papers said, quoting a police spokesman.

It would not surprise me at all if there are Hyenas in Yemen. At one point Yemen is very close to Africa.

Those hyenas are wicked animals!

The hyena pales in comparison to The Crazy Nastyass Honey Badger, though.
