Talk about a box office diversion.
Shailene Woodleys Divergent might be the No. 1 film in America but faith-based audiences are once again proving to be anything but conservative at the U.S. box office.
Christian drama Gods Not Dead, opening in fewer than 800 theaters, is on track for an impressive $8.2 million this weekend. Thats a per-screen average of over $10,400 from 782 locations.

LOL, that’s who it was. I think it is Sorbo, and don’t diss him, he was TV’s “Hercules” and he is a real cutie-pie.
I’ll be going to watch it this afternoon. Friends at church gave it a thumbs up.

Went to see it today and all I can say is - WOW! At the 5 PM showing the theater was full except for the front row. Didn’t hear a negative comment and the audience clapped, laughed, cried throughout. I would say that it’s a “don’t miss” movie.

Thoroughly enjoyed the movie. Some of the scenes had me drying my eyes. The theater was almost full, which was good to see.
Great! I certainly hope Pure Flix makes more movies!
