Synopsis;
3 days in a hotel via red cross, 3 days in same hotel via salvation army, no more agency help, moved in with daughter and son-in-law and 2 very happy grandkids because grammy and pappy are staying for a while.
Truth be known, all those commercials you see of retired people all happy and living comfortably for the first time manifest themselves fort us ... yesterday the kids couldn't WAIT to wake us up ... and we LOVED it.
Every family in America has 3 sets of plates, 4 sets of silverware, more towels, clothes, etc than needed, so all the things needed for life are there except a mobile home.
I lowered my goal on my donation page because thats all we need right now The church and my family tore the burnt one down and we had a dumpster allowed for half price (BIG savings) and if I had a new or newer mobile home (so an insurer will insure it .... THIS time), we could plug n play
I have a list of names and addresses to send thank yous and all and just havent done it yet.
freepmail me anytime, Im at a computer at least once a day now
830AM now, been up since 530, out the door soon to look at/for another mobile home
May the peace of God and the koinonia of the Holy Spirit abide with you and your family.
God’s Speed.
Blessings come in strange packages. Glad you have some silver linings!
May God be with you in these trying times. You are in my prayers!
Dude, I didn’t know!
On my prayer list! :)
We lost a whole lot of stuff with a lightning hit.... 9 computers, lots of specialized equipment and such that wasn’t covered by insurance. We were in shell shock, wondering what God was doing.
A pastor said to us “Time for an upgrade!” That is in fact how it turned out..... even without insurance. We were restored beyond our hopes.
