That made me chuckle. You're in the same paradigm, but you don't hold the media your files are stored on.

You're making an unwarranted assumption. Actually, I do hold my media. My important files are on MY servers, backed up off site, but made available over the Internet encrypted. Four terabytes instantly accessible to me wherever I am. . . No one controls it but me. Some inconsequential files are on the cloud. So what?

Sorry if you took offense, Swordmaker. I was just chuckling over your choice of words. Computers are still a file-based paradigm, no matter where the files are stored.
