SANFORD - The parents of George Zimmerman have sued comedienne Roseanne Barr, saying they fled their Lake Mary home in the middle of the night and have been unable to return because she posted their address on Twitter two years ago.
Robert Zimmerman Sr. and Gladys Zimmerman filed suit Monday in state circuit courtm accusing Barr of trying to incite "a lynch mob to descend" and carry out "vigilante justice."
According to the suit, Barr published their address on Twitter March 29, 2012, a month after their son, George Zimmerman killed Trayvon Martin, an unarmed black teenager in Sanford but before he was arrested.

“Not to defend Roseanne Barr, but that address remains publicly accessible on Zabasearch - which is essentially an online directory. Its not like Barr did anything of any real consequence by posting an address that literally anyone with an internet connection could find if they wanted to.”
You mean identifying the people at the address is out there in public record?
The purpose of the tweet was to insite violence against them.
I hope she pays big money
Every time her sitcom reruns on cable, the royalty check should go to the Zimmermans.
Here's to a penniless Roseanne!!! (tip glass here)....
Roseanne Barr incited a mob to go to their house and forced them to leave — and their son was not even living there.
It’s about time this lawsuit was brought to her doorstep.
I hope this costs her a lot of pineapples.
so....if this is legal and copacetic, if we can find Roseanne Barr’s home address anyplace in a public source, we are all free to tweet it until the cows come home?
The fact that they probably received actual threats after the tweet, and probably had not prior to the tweet, confirms that Roseanne's actions did incite to violence. And it's reasonable to believe that Roseanne's intent in tweeting the address was to incite violence.

Roseanne should be treated like a very big, fat pinata.
Good. tie the moron up in court.
About time the lovers of liberty fight back against the fascists on the left.
” Trayvon Martin, an unarmed black teenager”
Whenever the media uses this phrase, they’re trying to
LIE
and imply that Martin was incapable of causing injury or death to GZ.
Barr is wealthy. I hope the Zimmerman’s prevail, but money, sadly, is more often than not the deciding factor.
Good. As they should.
Actually, ONE of Roseanne’s homes is in Hawaii, according to virtual globetrotting:

Good luck finding it, much less getting a crowd to go there.
You’ll probably be shot multiple times by armed security before you get close.
Except Roseanne doesn’t believe in guns, right?
Regardless, Roseanne crossed the line. She used her Twitter account to gin up hatred of GZ and then she posted what she thought was his address online. You can’t stir up a feral mob and then claim you had no part in the trouble they cause. Especially with the feral “youths” barely staying within the boundaries of society anyway.
Morgan and Morgan are the go-to ambulance chasers in Central Fla. Charlie Crist is on the M&M payroll - to give you an idea how sleazy they are.
Not to defend him, but I don’t recall David Letterman doing anything that he could be sued for. Fairly or unfairly, Zimmerman became a public figure which allows him to be excoriated by comedians.
For what cause of action? Not libel, since what she said was the truth. Not invasion of privacy, since the information was publicly available.
The words “comedienne” and “Roseanne Barr” should not appear in the same sentence unless it is in this context:
Roseanne Barr is no longer funny, and should therefore no longer be called a comedienne.
