'INTERFERENCE': Pilot in another plane was flying 30 minutes ahead of MH370 SEPANG: A BOEING 777 pilot, who was flying 30 minutes ahead of the missing Malaysia Airlines     aircraft, said he established contact with    MH370  minutes  after  he   was    asked to do so by  Vietnamese air traffic control. The captain, who asked to not be named, said his plane, which was bound for Narita, Japan, was far into Vietnamese airspace when he was asked to relay, using his plane's emergency frequency, to MH370 for the latter to establish its position, as the authorities could not contact the aircraft. "We managed to establish contact with MH370 just after 1.30am and asked them if they have transferred into Vietnamese airspace.

In that case, if it was you, would you use the verb “mumbling?” I don’t think so - that describes how someone is speaking which is completely different than interference. When I’m talking to someone overseas on Skype and the connection is bad, I sure wouldn’t ask why they are mumbling.

I dunno - maybe I am putting too much into it. Sure is a lot that doesn’t add up, tho.

They had one of those experts on with Geraldo tonight who says he believes this is terrorism, why, because he said that with 777 planes they automatically send signals to the tower, the Pilot doesn’t have to do anything, the fact that nothing was sent to the tower is very suspicious to him

I saw a report online that N. Korea had test fired a missile in that general direction...but haven’t seen any more about this. Is that still possible?

The National Transportation Safety Board determines that the probable cause of the EgyptAir flight 990 accident is the airplane’s departure from normal cruise flight and subsequent impact with the Atlantic Ocean as a result of the relief first officer’s flight control inputs. The reason for the relief first officer’s actions was not determined.

The blackbox recordings indicate that Rushdy had left his first-class seat and entered the cockpit. But as soon as he left, el-Batouty, who was supposed to fly the second five-hour section of the flight, entered the cockpit and ordered a younger first officer out of his chair.

Saying “I rely on God”, he switched off the auto-pilot and pushed the plane into a dive.

Captain Ahmed el-Habashi, who had been out of the cockpit managed to struggle back in, and shouted: “What’s happening, Gamil? What’s happening?” El-Batouty said again “I rely on God,” and shut down the fuel to both engines.

Habishi shouted: “What is this? Did you shut the engines?” and grabbed the controls. “Pull with me! Pull with me!” he screamed.

The plane, which had been in a nosedive, then soared back up to 24,000 feet, but lost all power and broke up from the stress.

(The article says that this was his last flight because he was being fired for sexual misconduct, and his boss was onboard, so he took the plane down partly in revenge)

Difference was that was an accident, unfortunately people did die but it was not intentional, it was pilot error, and the plane was still pretty much in tact after it crashed, my question is, where the heck is the plane..did it sink like a rock(I would assume eventually it would come to the surface) because I really doubt the plane was bombed, if it was you would see little bits of plane all over the place, baggage, seats, bodies, something

LOL.

My point was that pilots know ships use different frequencies.

At least they used to...

LOL. Hey its as good as all the others

Not too likely, considering that Malaysia is the most diverse country here in southeast asia. Muslims make up only 60 percent of the population. Except for the northern section, they are not known to be radicals.

Far too early and zero known data to be speculating. But i guess it makes it fun for some. And many have to put order in their brain to make sense of the world. Even if the facts are they are speculating on are wrong.

“Here’s my conspiracy theory - pilot takes a break, and co-pilot dumps the fuel...causing the fuel slicks that have been found. The deed is done, and nobody can wrestle the controls from him to save the plane. And they just fall out of the sky...but a little north of the fuel slicks.”

How about not contacting the tower?

Come on. english is not their native language. They use words they know to best describe the situation. Half of the time the verbs and adjectives are wrong

Thats funny. First of all, the nearest "tower" is probably 200 nautical miles or more away.

If it was a hijacking, and there is a real possibility of that. Almost any trained terrorist know about all the "secret codes" and techniques available to the pilots.

In a moment of duress, putting in the hijack code is the last thing i am worried about. Yes it is important, but fighting for my life probably will come first

I suspect Vietnam’s Central Highlands. Extremely rugged. Very remote. Days out as opposed to debris that should have been detected by now in their coastal waters.

If this was terrorism, I know many have said “Well how come no one has claimed responsibility” maybe there is a reason for that..maybe they have a new way of bringing down planes but they don’t want to reveal it yet because there would be even more added security..remember that warning about explosives in toothpaste, or water bottles..or maybe this was an inside job, the baggage handler, they have to investigate everyone

I actually thought maybe a last minute bag added to the baggage compartment by an employee... but no debri out there when they found oil slick changed my mind, unless some shows up soon.

Oh you can bet they will investigate everything. But the real question is will they tell the public all the truth and everything they know?

No they will not!

In either scenario I am the guy in the other seat and the Captain is getting ready to kill me and everyone else aboard. I say something.

As for the plane. Suddenly blinking off of the radar. No distress call, auto or manual. There was a sudden catastrophic event. Mechanical? A bomb? Waits to be seen. And it doesn’t take a bomb to find little bits of a plane here and there after an accident. Math and gravity solve that for us.

I think of mumbling as something a person does when having a stroke .... Lack of oxygen
Could the ventilation system simply have stopped working?

One of those experts pointed out that what happened to the golfer could have happened to this plane. As the plane rose in altitude the pilot forgot to adjust the cabin pressure. Everyone would have simply fallen asleep.
