While I agree with your thinking on Romney and McCain, 100% in fact, I strongly take exception with your characterization of Palin’s take on things.
Palin just spoke at CPAC I believe it was. I watched the speech, and she especially went out of her way to inspire the women in the audience, and in fact she did inspire them.
She was electrifying in fact.
She is lightyears ahead of anyone else the GOP has out there, and I support her enthusiastically.
Sorry but I'm in the Cruz camp.
Well we’re not so far apart then.
Just saying.
Candidate Other is beating her too. She may have to prove herself as a senator before she has much of a chance. jmo
I’m disappointed that Gov. Palin isn’t doing better. Cruz (whom I voted for) & Palin are my choices. As much as I try to like him, Paul just leaves me cold. I’d vote for him (I guess) if he were the nominee, but I wouldn’t be delighted about it.
I hope you were able to see Sarah Palin’s awesome address to the CPAC crowd! She rocked the house and all conservative viewer-voters, I’m sure. I agree with all the points you made. I’m heartened to see that GOP-e’s candidates are not faring well in Drudge’s Poll, particularly NJ’s so-called “come-back” governor.
This is a big time show of force for the direction that the GOP must take to win. Rand Paul is just ahead of Ted Cruz at the moment... commanding a combined 60% of all votes... With the next nearest vote being “Other” at 7%.
This pretty much shows what the ticket SHOULD be in ‘16. Undoubtedly the d-bag Republicrat Party will BLOW IT... again and again and again.
Palin took herself off the A-list when she decided not to run last time.
A lot of people haven’t forgotten about that.
In my opinion, Palin needs to decide early she’s going to run, and gear up. With full fanfare.
She’s had two years of goofing off now. It is time to set her sights, and run.
Or not.
But she needs to decide pretty soon.
If I had my choice, I would want Palin to announce her candidacy within one week after the next election. IF we have a groundswell, it may be good for her to ride the wave.
I’m a big time Sarah fan but I don’t think she’s running. I think she’s going to throw her support behind Ted Cruz. He’s my second choice.
It was a great speech! :-)
Right now, it’s Cruz and Palin for the Conservatives, Paul for the Libertarians, and Bush and Christie for the GOP-E types.
The GOP-E may waver to Walker or Rubio in the hopes of compromise, and Huckabee might make some noise again; but realistically, I think the GOP nod goes to one of the five listed above.
I would love to see Cruz and Palin make an alliance and break the mold. Back in the day, candidates used run with their V.P. choice during the primaries; it only recently became the custom to announce your V.P. Choice a month or two before the General Election.
Could you imagine Cruz/Palin or Palin/Cruz being announced before Iowa, with supporters of both recognizing that they are voting for both at the same time? The GOP-E would watch them essentially close the deal on Super Tuesday.
Great news!
Thanks so much!
Good idea. Ride the tsunami!
What a fantastic idea! Hey Cruz and Sarah staffers, take note!
I watched Sarah Palin’s address on Fox News. Afterward, the snarky talking head on Fox dismissed her saying Tina Fey would get more votes than Sarah. Tina Fey should get down on her knees and thank God for giving her a career out of mocking Sarah Palin.
She came back from being Chris Christie she really bad off until she put the lead
I agree with your every word!
