Burglar Told Homeowner No You Dont Have a Gun: She Did and She Used it...
A mother and her two young children wouldnt scare off most hardened criminals. But one Detroit mother taught the world yet again that a firearm is all it takes to even the odds.

Good for her. Great job.
The most dangerous thing in the world is a scared, pissed off mama defending her babies...
... or a Libtard who just got told his/her EBT isn’t working anymore and they have to get a job.
Yes, I Love Even Odds. Odds, give Me a heads up, please.
Feel good story of the day!!!
And Clint at his best!
I taught my wife a long time ago, when I’m not around, SHE needs to be able to protect the kids. So I got her VERY proficient with a couple different handguns (I am a certified instructor) and she took to them like a duck to water.
She - and my daughter too - likes the .45 (Glock 21).
“You don’t have a Gun”
“OK, it’s a Musket.”
“It’s still a gun !!!” ...” Can you hold on a minute while I get it loaded ?”
Hell, a blunderbuss is still a gun!
More to my point.
Pierce Morgan would be happy to have her with the need to “Reload”
Maybe she should have shoved Piers Morgan in front of her children as a shield...
Then fired through him.
If my family hadn’t lost all their weapons in that horrible boating accident ... We could relate.
uh huuh... :^)
No... Pierce Morgan would rather see her raped and her kids thrown in a river than defend herself with a gun.
Liberal anti-gun folks live in a world where two realities exist.
They profess, a world of peace and bubblegum, but when pushed, they are just like most folks.
I’ve had this conservation a dozen or more times with anti-gun liberals.
“What if someone, right NOW, breaks through your front door”
“What would you do?”
Liberal: “I would call the police”
Me: “Really?, and while you waited for the Police, what would you be doing?”
Liberal: “I don’t know” , “Maybe I would run and hide?”
Me: “And if they weren’t interested in stealing your stuff, but wanted to physically assault you?”
Me: “Would you defend yourself?”
Liberal: “Yes”
Me: “By any means necessary?”
Liberal: “Yes”
Me: “including using a firearm?”
Liberal: “YES”
Just a sample.
Then after the thought experiment they are happy to go back to their alternate reality.
Someone give that lady a 12 guage 24 inch barreled semi auto shotgun and couple boxes of Buckshot...Next time there won’t be a need for cops.
That reminds me of a story I heard quite a few years ago but I believe it really happened. An older guy was confronted by a burglar in his home and he armed himself with a replica cap and ball pistol he had. The burglar laughed and said "whatcha gonna do with the pirate gun, Gramps?" "Gramps" answered him by shooting him dead.
Who knew pirate pistols were deadly? /s lol
He was lucky he wasn't facing three intruders though.
And yet, I’ve had a conversation where the person in question vehemently believed that just “giving them what they want” is all that was necessary.
Oh well, ya know... If that is how some of them want to be, that’s on them.
Me?
I’ll ALWAYS have a gun.
No matter what they pass or ban, or whatever. It makes NO difference to me.
Haha.. Hell, the only thing she’d need after a tap of THAT lightning rod would be a bucket, a mop, and LOTS of Mr. Clean...
Cap and Ball guns are still .... GUNS! Haha! As that burglar found out.
Just goes to show you it isn’t the gun - it’s pissed off old curmudgeon BEHIND the gun!!!
One of my favorite “old guns” is the .44 caliber cap and ball 1858 Remington New Army.
It’s got six rounds in it, six rounds of black-powder powered .44 caliber lead balls traveling, when fired, anywhere around 1600-1900 fps. One of those WILL blow a really big hole in the perp; the other five are enough for any follow-ons.
Plus - that particular sidearm had the quick-change cylinders - “Speed Loaders” ala 19th Century. You pulled the ejector rod forward and down, tapped the spent cylinder out, and loaded a fully prepped and loaded NEW cylinder in and locked it in place, and you were ready to go VERY quickly.
Personally... I would NOT want to stand in front of that.
Late 1800s vintage weaponry had big, nasty, freight train bullets that were VERY unforgiving... not like the high speed darning needles we use now.
Go back a further in the 1800s, and you have flintlock pistols, firing anywhere from .45 to .58 caliber lead balls. Now, those “pirate” handguns were slower to load, but still - it’s a freight train and it hits like one, and you get that large, satisfying blast of smoke and noise.
I love old firearms. Always did. Fun to shoot, and hoot to compete with in “primitive” shoots.
