There is a documentary on “Troll 2” very funny.
Interestingly, there was never a “Troll 1” movie and the creatures aren’t actually trolls.
There was a Troll 1.
There was a Troll 1.
How did these guys forget about Ben Affleck?
LOL! Is there an echo in here?
“The Worst Movie Ever Made”
It was pretty funny, and if that guy was my dentist I’d get my teeth cleaned all the time. He seemed pretty funny.
Felt bad for the mother from the movie though.
Never seen Troll 2, but I did see Equinox (1970) which to me takes the cake in bad acting and really bad production values. It looks like something done in a cheap student film class.

"Sharknado"
Anything by Woody Allen
"Casablanca" is one of the worst movies ever made. The screenplay and acting are wooden and stilted, and the plot is simply silly. It's appallingly bad, and why it is considered a classic is beyond me, because all of the actors were dreadful.
I confess I've never been able to watch the whole thing, but saw a few minutes of it the other day, and realized why.
Yes, these folks are right. There was a Troll 1, but it was called Troll. You can see it on Netflix and it is a foreign movie, like Norway or somewhere like that. I really liked Troll, but I usually watch movies to escape, and not to evaluate the acting or the script writing. So I overlook all those continuity errors and bad acting by people I never heard of and just try to get into the story.
Troll is about some documentary making students following a mysterious mountain man. He chases them away at first, but after they follow him into a headlong troll attack, he confides in them about his secret work for the Government keeping trolls in check. It’s a great ride with nice mountain scenery and several scarry enconters with different types of trolls.
I’ll have to check out Troll 2.
My bad.
from Wikipedia:
Troll 2 is a 1990 horror B movie directed by Claudio Fragasso[1] (under the pseudonym Drake Floyd) and starring Michael Stephenson, George Hardy, Margo Prey, Connie McFarland, Deborah Reed and Jason Wright. Although produced under the title Goblins, United States distributors were skeptical about the film’s ability to succeed as a standalone picture and renamed it Troll 2 in an attempt to market it as a sequel to the 1986 Empire Pictures film Troll.[2] The two films, however, have no connection, and no trolls are actually depicted in Troll 2.
The plot concerns a family pursued by vegetarian goblins who seek to transform them into plants so that they can eat them. The English-language script was written by Fragasso and his wife Rosella Drudi, neither of whom actually spoke fluent English at the time. Despite filming the movie in Utah, and casting the movie entirely with American actors (many of whom had no prior acting experience and had responded to the casting call hoping to be extras), Fragasso also employed an exclusively Italian crew, who likewise spoke no English. The resultant communication breakdown, coupled with the cast’s lack of experience and Fragasso’s insistence that his script be performed verbatim, has led to the movie being considered one of the worst movies ever made.
Because of the film’s reputation, it has gained a very large cult following. A critically acclaimed documentary produced by one of the actors (Michael Stephenson), Best Worst Movie, was released in 2010, chronicling the film’s large fanbase.

Sorry folks, before I get deservedly flamed.. The movie I was describing in my previous post was Trollhunter, not Troll. Sorry. No connection whatsoever to Troll, Troll 2, or Troll 3.
There’s a Troll 3? Time to update my Netflix Queue.
You're right... There wasn't a "Troll '1.'" It was simply titled "Troll." And it had a relatively famous cast, as I recall.
