Seems quiet out there. Russia invades a country one door down from the EU and crickets from the left. No cries of killing Putin and his family, no signs, No human shields....nothing.

The maps above tell more truth than the media reports.

The white predominately Russian Speaking are likely Russians also since IIRC, dual citizenship is not allowed. Crimea has a different government than the rest of the Ukraine.
Thanks for posting. A picture is worth 10,000 words in this case.

Jefferson is the wrong person to ever quote because the next week he said the opposite.

Thankfully the “lyin’ king” has admonished Putin and I’m sure Vlad is rethinking his options. Nah. Probably not so much. Probably more like ROTFLHAO. We know he thinks the “lyin’ king” is just a tres-gone like punk.

The protesters are anti-western liberal democracy. Russia is anti-western. Pretty simple.
I remember seeing “anti-war” protests in Holland during the Iraq invasion. The Dutch protesters marched practically past an American WW2 cemetery. The irony was totally lost on those pinkos.
We see political calculations in everything the left does. The enemy of my enemy is my friend they think. Thus, no protests when a KGB thug goes on a rampage.

They got involved in Yugoslavia through NATO but we and the British were the primaries in that fight. In fact it was James Blunt (Nearest to camera) who told Wes Clark "NO" when Clark told them to take the Pristina airfield from the Russians. Blunt was backed up by General Mike Jackson.
Oddly enough Blunt is now a famous Brit pop singer.

The leader of the free world has gone to bed with the vapours.
As he lays curled up in the fetal position hugging his Nobel Peace prize and sucking his thumb he is consoled by dreams of swinging cuts in the US military.
Do we need to say more about leadership?

The slaughter went on for quite a while before anyone got involved. In fact, the shame of what was happening in europe’s backyard, is what finally got to be too much for us to ignore.

Read an article back in the 80s along the same lines. The Chernobyl disaster had just irradiated most of Europe. The writer noticed that the only protest against Russia for it didn't have over a dozen people. When the writer asked about it he was informed that it was nothing, he should have been there a week before for the huge anti American protest.

I dated a Serbian woman who says the disaster was that it went on for so long but that's the way it always is in Europe.

I was going to say. Europe wants to be warm next winter.

It could be worse - Obama could have turned his attention toward “saving” the Ukraine from itself...

I agree. But I have dug into the “Hitler” quote and it’s false. It’s even worse than the old false versions, attributed to some “found letter” from a conference etc. The new bogus “Hitler” quote adds the ghengis khan stuff that I have never even seen before the false “who remembers the Armenians” quote.

I suspect that by this time Vlad has the range on our man and has elected to ignore him. I hope.

Probably because they have their own problems and helping George Soros and the Oligarchs loot Ukraine is not high on their priority queue.

“Would we give up Hawaii and our naval bases there if native Hawaiian radicals took over downtown Oahu and ordered us out?”
If they are Hawaiian and Oahu is Hawaiian how does that make them radicals? We did take it by armed force, low down shenanigans and outright murder to begin with. What I mean is that it’s tough sh*t but it is their land.

I heard one radio news report yesterday say that a group (didn’t give a number) of Ukranians were protesting outside the WH gates.

I haven’t dug around in the issue enough to try to find the hand of Soros but it does seem to fit the usual globalist pattern. Break up nations into small pieces so they are weakened and then bring them under some kind of international control.
To me it never seemed Organic like the nearly ignored unrest in Venezuela.
