Today I took my beautiful feline companion for her final trip to the vet. For nearly 20 years she was with me, through the ups and MANY downs. RIP, my sweet little Heidi, you don't have to struggle anymore.

I know how tough it is when there's nothing more to be done for them except that final trip.

My oldest girl, a beautiful red tortie, will be 13 this summer. She's still going strong, but I know that someday she'll have to make that last trip, and it's gonna just tear me up inside.

Aww—so sorry. I lost my sweet girl the end of January. She was 15. My sweet husband—who knew the end was near—surprised me with a kitten at Christmas. It has helped :)

So sorry to hear about your sweetie Heidi. Twenty years is a GOOD, long life for a kitteh, you must be doing it right! Take comfort in knowing you gave her a lifetime of love and caring and, hopefully, you can do the same for another one created and waiting just for you.

so sorry for your loss, have had to put dogs down due to cancer and 1 liver failure. It hurts, we emotionally invest in our familys even the 4 legged ones..
