All extensions on Windows must be installed from the Chrome Web Store; those that were not will be permanently disabled. Google today upgraded Chrome to version 33, fulfilling its promise to block more add-ons in the Windows browser and quashing 28 bugs.

Firefox updated something and my Ad Blocker no longer blocks ads on some video sites.
There are at least a dozen browsers one could use out there.

My Chrome browser has auto-update disabled. In fact, everything on my PC has auto-update turned off.
Or Opera. One of my favorites.

Chrome came in with a Google Earth download/ install, and took over my computer, changing prefs, desktop etc. I ripped the uninvited bitch out root & trunk, but eveytime I used GE, it came back. Chrome seemed like a nice browser, but had very bad manners. Got rid of GE now, too. Same reason I never use IE; it’s there, and part of the OS, but doesn’t get used.
Thanks be to God. Only one i can get multiple rows and reduce tab width, and color them, and save multiple sessons, and use Select source to copy selection in html, etc.
