The sitter narrows her eyes and says 'no, 60'. I find this offensive. I think it was the creepy narrowing of the eyes, before the sitter upped the cost because 'they can obviously afford it'. Pandering to the low info morons with Leftist Class Warfare, in this once great country.

I saw it the other day. Agree with you completely. Snot-nosed little brat demonstrating class warfare. I will never buy a GM or a Chrysler after their bailouts. Advertising has taken sleeze and propaganda to an all-time low. Most commercials are stupid, vile or just plain annoying.

I’ve seen it, too. I would tell her it was $40 and never hire her again because she got greedy.

Honesty and integrity don’t count for much these days. Obama is setting the example for all baby sitters.

$40? Like hell. How long did this baby sitter sit for? That’s more than I pay for daycare for a full day. And she wants $60? She can pound sand and walk home.

My wife and I also saw it. We BOTH find it very offensive. My wife’s comment is, “It’s $40 you little twerp. And that’s the LAST time you babysit for us, especially if you’re going to extort money!”

Have only seen it while watching TV with the sound off — didn’t know what the dialog was.
But the look of it even when silent was creepy.

Eh....she’s a UAW babysitter. The American taxpayers probably paid her. It’s for damn sure we paid for the commercial.

Most commercials are stupid, vile or just plain annoying.
In a marketing class I took in college I remember the professor telling us how stupid and annoying are actually powerful sales tactics, even more so than sex. He cited the Charmin ads that incessantly played on TV "Mr. Whipple, PLEASE don't squeeze the Charmin!" Absolutely asinine, but you gotta admit, they moved lots of toilet paper.

Dumb for selling a car. This car is so expensive you need to be a 1 percenter to buy it...and still be able to hire a pricey babysitter and go out. Fifty cents is what I earned; seventy-five if 2+ kids.

“$20 and I won’t tell your parents you ...”
I stopped there trying to think what unsubstantiated allegation you could level at a teenager these days that would stun the kid into compliance at the mere suggestion ... and I can’t think of anything
“you were doing drugs” — so?
“you were drinking” — so?
“you were making out with some boy” — just one?
...
I cant think of anything, and I’m generally very creative
guess that speaks to how far they’ve screwed our society.

Hey, people who like to drive around in flashy expensive new type cars should expect this kind of behavior. Might as well put a sign out window saying, “look at me, I have lots of money”....It’s just the way it is, like it or not.
I personally avoid loud flashy expensive looking vehicles, jewelry etc., for numerous reasons. They can cost more than many bargained for.

I gotta say, the only automobile ads I can stand to watch are Subaru. Hell the first couple of go rounds, I even enjoy them.
When any of the others hit my TV, the remote starts firing.
So I have not seen the Tahoe ad.

Maybe it's not so strange that the advertising philosophy of the government motor company might take on the us vs. them philosophy of its benefactor?
Not an enticement for potential buyers, IMHO.

I am not a NASCAR fan, but I found the irony in this to be, well...delicious!
