Ukraine Leader In New Leaked Recording: 8 Million Russians In Ukraine “Must Be Killed With Nuclear Weapons”
While the NSA is busy justifying its spying of every American its existence thanks to famous Moscow resident Edward Snowden, its Russian counterparts have been busy intercepting even more phone Ukrainian conversations.
After a month ago a leaked phone call between US assistant secretary of state Victoria Nuland and the US envoy to the Ukraine, Geoffrey Pyatt
confirmed that it was the US that was pulling the strings - in what was about to be a violent coup overthrowing Ukraine’s president Yanukovich,
“someone” has just leaked another phone conversation, this time between parliamentarian Nestor Shufrych and -former PM and ideological leader of the Ukraine “revolution” Yulia Tymoshenko and most probable future president of West Ukraine, - in which Tymoshenko is makes the following threats,
“It’s going too far! Bugger! We must grab arms and go whack those damn katsaps [a Ukrainian word used to refer to the Russians in a negative tone] together with their leader”, “I’ll use all my connections, I’ll raise the whole world – as soon as I’m able to – in order to make sure.. Bugger!.. not even scorched earth won’t remain where Russia stands” although all her empty threats collapse in the last sentence of the phone conversation in which she says, regarding the Crimea annexation, that “we are going to take it to the Hague International Criminal Court.” Good luck with that.
But the smoking gun, and where Putin once again shows just how masterful of a chess player he is, is the following statement by Tymoshenko, after asked, rhetorically, by her counterparty, “what should we do now with the 8 million Russians that stayed in Ukraine. They are outcasts”... to which she replies: “They must be killed with nuclear weapons.”
Needless to say, that is not how you make Russian friends, or diffuse geopolitical tensions

Turkey calls Syria security leak ‘villainous,’ blocks YouTube
Turkish Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan on Thursday denounced as “villainous” the leaking of a recording of top security officials discussing possible military action in Syria to the video-sharing site YouTube.
Turkish authorities ordered the shutdown of the site.
Erdogan’s foreign minister Ahmet Davutoglu called the posting a “declaration of war,” an apparent reference to an escalating power struggle between Erdogan and rivals. (snip)

Some U.S. officials fear al-Qaeda might attack West from Syria
Dozens of seasoned militant fighters, including midlevel planners, have traveled to Syria from Pakistan in recent months in what U.S. intelligence and counterterrorism officials fear is an effort to lay the foundation for future strikes against Europe and the United States.
“We are concerned about the use of Syrian territory by the al-Qaeda organization to recruit individuals and develop the capability to be able not just to carry out attacks inside of Syria but also to use Syria as a launching pad,” CIA Director John Brennan told a House panel recently.
The extremists who concern Brennan are part of a group of al-Qaeda operatives in Pakistan that has been severely depleted by a decade of U.S. drone strikes. But the fighters still bring a wide range of skills to the battlefield, such as bomb-building, small-arms tactics, logistics, religious indoctrination and planning, though they are not believed to have experience in launching attacks in the West......

After leaking Tsarnaev pics, would police photographer do it again?

For months, the pictures Murphy took of Tsarnaev's capture were kept out of the public light since they were the property of the state police.
Then last July, Murphy saw the cover of Rolling Stone magazine, which he, like so many in Boston, thought depicted Tsarnaev as a rock star. He was astonished.
"Oh, it was totally offensive. I think it was anyone who saw that cover knew it was offensive and knew it was wrong," Murphy said."I was upset that they did that. I knew it hurt a lot of people," he said.
In response, Murphy decided to release the photos of Tsarnaev, though he didn't have the authority.
The photos depicted a bloody Tsarnaev with his arms up and forehead colored red from the laser beams of sniper rifles.
"Knowing that I had the images that really showed that that guy, not fluffed and buffed for the cover of Rolling Stone, but as he really looks on the day he was captured, is very simple for me. I knew that people had to see those images," he said.
