On Feb 9th 2011, you were evicted from an apartment at 20 Catherine St and your old red pit bull was seized by animal control and taken to the kill shelter. She was really skinny and had bad skin infections, and had been bred A LOT. She'd even had a Caesarian, judging by the scar. They said at the kill shelter she was 12 years old. She also had a lopsided face and it looked like there were a few cigarette burns on her head/ears.

That doggie has had 3 and hopefully more years to undo all the bad treatment she had. Wonderful story, EveningStar! When I looked at the pictures.. the dog looked so happy and joyful!
Sometimes good things come in unusual ways...kinda like a beautiful gift wrapped in ugly paper.
Although this old girl was abandoned and misused...her final years will be happy ones.
What a wonderful story! I love pitties, but I live in public housing and they don’t allow the pits, for obvious reasons. My dream doesn’t die, though...I want one!

I’m s sucker for pibbles myself. They just get the most endearing dopey doggie grin, and they’re SO devoted to their person.
