Way too long of a rant to read...Was there something he wanted to say?

Interesting,I wonder what the reaction was from all those clerical people to receive this letter?Or even the uniformed men and women? To realize they cant hide in anonymity and seeing their inbox with this in it?

"If producing a novel when an essay would suffice..."

True.
He can learn a lot from Emily Dickenson.

You are wrong on your #8 there. By time America got to the war, the Canadians had already broken Germany’s back.

I don’t mind people taking credit for stuff, but taking credit where it’s not due is a pet peeve of mine.

Was there something he wanted to say?

Why, yes, there was.
Too bad you missed it - soundbites this is not.

. . . then those who enforce this law are betrayers of that oath and by extension, traitors to their country . . .

Yes, but . . . for this age's generation trained by unfaithful citizenship teachers and police academies, which will take preference--your (and my) principles, or their paycheck?

Wordy.
Might have had more immediate impact if it was from a Connecticut citizen.

But well worth passing on...it IS getting hotter...couple more pushes ought to just about do it.

Every day John wakes up and marvels upon the length of his moustache. It’ll be quite long one day at this rate.

Pepsico underwriting Gabby Giffords’ gun control group

February 17, 2014

Just as Moms Demand Action (Go to a single’s bar, girls) and Mayors Against Illegal Guns (aka the Kiddie Porn Mayors group 1 2 3 4 5 6 Google it) has former NYC mayor Michael Bloomberg funding their civilian disarmament schemes, and the Brady Campaign withers from a lack of funding, the folks at The Truth About Guns have identified the major source of funding for Gabby Giffords’ “Americans for Responsible Solutions” or whatever her merry band of 13 employees call themselves.

The sponsor: Pepsico.

Follow the money.

Things are warming up rapidly, this does cause me to think, while tyranny runs ramped, we could be in the generation that did nothing, three percent is awfully low, but it has been done before, as the letter pointed out.

The incidents of tyranny are slowly racking up, and talking about it is yet to accomplish anything, does that mean armed resistance is inevitable, maybe, but IMO 2014, is the last chance we have to take back, protect, preserve and restore the Constitution politically, with voting as corrupt as it is, the chances are indeed slim.

**.....more immediate impact if it was from a Connecticut citizen.**

Exactly, my thought also.

I think Mr. Vanderboegh flatters himself when he thinks:

**Well, I guess at least some of my audience that day took my message to heart. As Connecticut newspapers have finally begun reporting -- "Untold Thousands Flout Gun Registration Law" -- and national commentators are at last noticing, my advice to defy, resist and evade this intolerable act is well on the way.**

I was at that rally.....and I didn't hear his *speech*Would have probably walked out, if I did.

One thing he is correct about are the auto-felons created by this law. One can't even get a straight answer about questions specific to the law. Until our 2A attorney returns our call .... I can assume we are felons too.

It’s used a lot elsewhere. I’ve seen it used most often on AR15.com when someone doesn’t bother to read an article and expounds upon their ignorance with pride.

Mike V hasn’t been wrong yet.

Mike has some rather serious health issues and perhaps realizes that his days are numbered. I think it’s reasonable to expect him to try to make as big a splash as possible when he jumps into the pool. I’ve followed him for a number of years and while I don’t agree with him on every point, I have learned to respect his views. I believe him to be as good a good man as we can find during these trying times.
