There’s a wall painting showing him smooching one daughter (in profile like this), while another daughter is looking up at her mother and pointing at father. He was a creep.

My Cuban in-laws do the same thing.
They’re not creeps.
Beware of creeping FR/cultural bigotry. That’s faulty history.
And my in-laws DO NOT make kissy around me.
My family’s Scandinavian. We don’t touch.

Why, who’d have thought it? Could it be a translation error? The ancient Egyptians didn’t speak Spanish real good.

What amazes me is why we care about those people of THOUSANDS of years ago. They and their culture died out MILLENIA ago. Egypt is now Arab and Muslim. It will probably be that way for a LONG time.
To: cloudmountain; SunkenCiv
You are talking about geography.
The topic is previous civilizations. Waaay before Islam.

“Theres a wall painting showing him smooching one daughter (in profile like this), while another daughter is looking up at her mother and pointing at father. He was a creep.”
I see; you know just by the painting what the style & form of the flesh and blood kiss was. NOT.
I see; in western culture no parents ever kiss their children on the lips. NOT true.
Maybe the creepiness is in your head.

The pharaoh was bangin’ his own daughters. I guess being against that makes me a bigot.

What amazes me is, how, after so many years, there are still trolls on FR.

I don’t think you’re a bigot. I have some concerns that you might be an alien from Jupiter, but bigot? No way. Jupiterians are great people. Just ask anyone from Mars.

No, Luxor was the old-fashioned place he was escaping from. His glorified hippie commune was called Akhetaten back then, and Tell el-Amarna today.

Even trolls are allowed to be here. They make you look so good, so smart.
Besides, even trolls are entitled to some happiness. Hanging out here is happiness.

More history for the Muslim brotherhood to destroy. They’d better take real good pictures and notes.
