Fox News host Bill OReilly says the pinheads in the Republican Party should stop opposing the minimum wage.
The Republican Party should really wise up and stop opposing raising the minimum wage. It should be 10 bucks an hour to keep employers from exploiting workers, O'Reilly said Wednesday during his opening Talking Points Memo segment of his TV show.
OReilly said his proposed $10 an hour minimum wage would apply only to adults. Teenagers just beginning their careers should be paid on a lower scale, he said.
The GOP needs to stop working against working people, OReilly said.

I would agree with Ted Bater here.... The GOP needs to wise up on minimum wage debate....just not the way he thinks they should....
The dems have turned the minimum wage law into a political flogging stick....
Take the stick out of the dems hands by proposing a $ 10.00 an hour wage with a corp tax decrease to help companies pay for it...
Dems will grind their teeth to a nub....

Shouldn’t that be left up to the employers Billy Boy? If they don’t pay well, they get crummy employees. It’s none of the government’s business how much they pay. If someone does not want to work for what the employer is paying, they don’t have to work there. Use your noggin’ Billy!

I worked for less than minimum wage as a teenager.

All right, O’ Leprechaun. I see your 10 and raise you $30 per hour. Or 40. Or 50.

Beyond stupid. O’Reilly let businesses explain to you the pressures they are under. The CEO of White Castle said that the pressures of the increase of food costs (ethanol regulation), obamacare and minimum wage means that White Castle has to sell about 316,000,000 hamburgers to break even. I wonder if Wonder Boys O’Reilly OR Obama have a clue what that means.

Yesterday, Romney did say a smart thing. The Republicans should tie the minimum wage to the COLA. I say it should be tied to both the inflationary and deflationary indexes. That seems fair.

Pretty soon they’ll make more burgers than that by replacing workers with robots.

I deleted the show within a minute of his idiotic talking points. Also, Cavuto pissed me off. McCain was on and called the TEA Part extremist. And Cavuto promoted by not saying anything. Won't be DVRing Cavuto either.

That’s the tactic that unions use to demand wage increases whenever a contract comes up for renewal.

That's what happens when the governments (fed, state and city) price you out of the market. Robots don't need benefits or wages.

Ailes has been moving Fox News further leftwards since 2011; he called it a “course correction”. Funny enough, it started after the Tea Party “shellacking” happened.

O’Reilly has always shown himself to be an ignorant boob when it comes to economic issues, plus he can be a rude and annoying interviewer. Today, for example, he had on a woman who disagreed with him on this issue and, as usual when you disagree with him, he interrupted her, talked over her, refused to let her talk, and was his customary obnoxious self when addressing her because he is always, always right.
