Jim:

Has anyone thought of the long term consequences of Obamacare?

Could the genus of this it is that as a ward of the State, there is nothing to pass on to heirs if your costs exceed your life’s accumulation of wealth.

Could this be the ultimate Socialist State unveiled through the government taking the “little guys” property?

As the laws in most states require that estates be liquidated to recoup your medical costs or elderly care, will there be anything to pass on to others?

If I am correct in this being a long term consequence, then at some point the State, e.g., government will own everything except the corporations, as they currently have their own lives.

Maybe this is what Nancy Pepolsi and some Democrats sough to achieve which is the ultimate end-game to acquire all private property within a generation and transform American forever....

Revelation 22:20
He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming quickly.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.

No question, that’s the plan——b/c inter-generational transfers of wealth is a longtime progressive bugaboo.

In 2010 the Congressional Gee Oh Pee RINOs were happy to welcome the energy of those who were TAXED ENOUGH ALREADY.

The opposite is true today.

The major change happened in 2012 and 2013 when RINO John “Benghazi Coverup” Boehner refused to appoint a Special Prosecutor for Commie Obama’s IRS harassment of TEA Party Organizations.

By this single arrogant protection of Obama, Speaker Boehner became enemy number two for members of the TEA Party.

Additionally, the RINOs want to replace Obamacare with Boehnercare, Ryancare or RINOcare, which proves that RINOs support the continuance of the taxation punishment of working Americans by the illegal Commie mechanism of Mandatory Insurance Taxation.

Lenin would be very proud of both Obama and Boehner.

Any support of Democrats or RINOs is support of Commie Obamacare or its neo-Commie derivatives.

History has shown that most voters have made up their minds by July Fourth, and thus a Convention held after that date is pointless.

The best way to drum the RINOs out of the Republican Party is a massive write in campaign.

If we want to change the Political Party Controlled Voting System, then WE MUST USE THEIR SYSTEM AGAINST THEM.

Only Democrats voted for Obamacare, and therefore all Democrats are to be opposed.

RINOs propose “fixes” to Obamacare, and therefore all RINOs are to be opposed.

Suggested Checks and Balances on Doormat RINOS, Democrats and the Leftstream Media:

!.) Send no money to the DNC or the RNC.

2.) Hold a TAXED ENOUGH ALREADY National Party Convention on April 22, EVERY YEAR FROM NOW ON.

3.) Flood the RINOs taxpayer paid office staff with all manner of irate communication every Wednesday FROM NOW ON.

4.) Write in or leave RINO slots blank on election ballots.

5.) Remember that as of 1-1-2014 we are now a Neo-Communist nation, thanks to Obamacare and our own doormat Congressional Cave In RINOs, and hold rallies and marches to remind the low information voter of that fact.

6.) In 2014 we boot out the RINOs.

7.) In 2015 and 2016 we give the action-based “TEA Party Numerical Constitutional Rating” on every Republican or Independent Federal Politician.

Don’t sign up, and don’t pay the “fine/tax”...

They will never come after you, but it will accumulate (with interest) and they will take your estate to pay it off when you die

Transfer everything to your children NOW

sorry, but we each should pay our own costs, as long as we can anyway, before asking others (directly, or through the government’s taxing powers) to pay our way for us.

you die either with or without an estate.
your heirs either inherit a lot or a little or nothing at all....

they have no right to inherit anything, and you certainly have a duty to maintain and try to recover your own health while you are alive (!!!!)

as a couple of potential heirs have said here (as their beneficiary’s assets erode due to medical and nursing home expenses)... “either there will be something left over for us, or there won’t — we did nothing to earn any money from him and we have no right to receive even one cent inheritance..”

The only people who can survive in such a scenario are the super-rich who can afford the huge health care costs, and the perpetual dependent class, those who have nothing to lose to begin with.

The middle class is increasingly squeezed and ultimately destroyed.

Well, I’m thinking we’ve probably added about 50 million people to the Medicaid rolls here by the time we are finished. That should add about 25 million more to the other entitlement rolls eventually. We will be at or near 1/2 of the population of this country on some sort of welfare. The other half, meanwhile thinking “why the hell bother anymore?”

The bottom line to ANY question of this kind is answered;

If We Allow It.

I don't know if it's true, but I've heard there is no contract that can't be broken

If that's true, I would say there's no law that can't be rescinded. All it takes is the will to do it.

The "Just Say No" campaign is a winner IF everyone ... just said no.

Under the best scenario with the GOP sweeping Congress in 2014 and gaining the White House in 2016 and succeeding in a total repeal of Obamacare, I fear our healthcare system will be damaged for decades if not permanently. While I believe it is likely the GOP will take back the Senate and hold the House this fall, the RINO leadership will be too timid to do anything more than give lip service to any serious repeal or dismantlement of Obamacare.

The doomed Obmacare juggernaut will like a wounded Godzilla continue to thrash about wrecking havoc in its death throes. This fall millions covered under employer sponsored health plans will be getting their cancellation notices if their employers have not already ended coverage. Private health insurance companies will face staggering losses and be begging for government bailouts and the cost of health insurance will skyrocket. The number of people without health insurance will dramatically increase and Medicaid roles will swell. Medicare will become almost worthless as more and more healthcare providers will no longer accept Medicare patients. Hospital emergency rooms will become the source of primary care for millions of people who cannot now not afford insurance coverage, but make too much to qualify for Medicaid.

There will be pressure for the government to do something to end the chaos and of course Obama will be waiting with a plan for single payer socialized medicine that the appeasers in the GOP leadership will be all too willing to accept.

I couldn’t agree more that that, or a version of it, is the plan.

In politics as with physics, every action generates a reaction. For example, the redlight cameras. A study is performed saying that 3% of the 100,000 cars passing this light every day run it. We’ll make .03 x 100,000 x $100. But the moment the cameras are installed the run-rate drops to a fraction of the previous rate. The same is true for taxes, which never take in what their proponents say they should. People will adjust to the new confiscation. They may put their belongings in living trusts. Congress will make certain that trusts can’t be attached because that is where all the big political money is. The Kennedys will be rich for the foreseeable future not because any of them work, but because the family money is safe in trusts that can’t be touched. Poorer people may convert to cash or gift their wealth away before they die. Yes, government can and will adapt. But they’ll do it in the mode of the red lights, where when the revenue drops they shorten the yellow light interval and increase the fines for those who do run it. But they won’t get all of what they’re after, just a portion. Eventually, the law will change and we’ll be safe again. Politics ebbs and flows like the tide. We’re in a liberal flood tide right now. But there may come a conservative flood tide too. It’s almost inevitable that it will, eventually, come.
