Okay, who gives a Rats Arse about the 2014 Stupor Bowl? I sure don't.
I care. Go Broncos. This year....
Stupor Bowl—you got that right.
“Im a simple girl and I like Payton.”
Me too, hubby too, I think.
Hubby was kind of rooting for SF, but all our own teams (we have 4 different ones between us, the kid, and the kid’s honey) lost (my ravens held out the longest!) so we’re kind of coasting through the end of the season. Just gosh darn grateful to Denver for knocking out the Pats!
But I'll get to enjoy it later on DVR
“Should I post a thread about how I dont care about curling?”
Not until you go over to Ace of Spades and see the dreadful Olympic costumes of one of the Scando teams, I think they are shown with curling apparatus, but I couldn’t look at it long enough to be sure.
What is the opposite of apathy? Terror!
Yep. "Articulate and clean", as Joey Biden would say.
Last Bud Bowl was in 1997.
but Rene Fleming will sing the national anthem...I'd like to listen to that...
“I dont watch games by myself now.”
Oh Marcella, that sounds sad! We are in NJ, come over here and watch with us!
Next year tune in to the Fox pregame show, there are all great guys on it, very handsome and charming - I love watching them.
I remember watching football with my dad, that was the best.
College football back in the day, when they’d actually show the halftime bands and stuff, I really loved it.
“but Rene Fleming will sing the national anthem...I’d like to listen to that... “
Didn’t know that, I’ll make sure to catch it. I stand up and everything.
Thanks for the heads up!
Why the hell are they holding a game in New Jersey in early February?
It should be held at the Rose Bowl.
Um...pretty much anything.
I mean, if you saw the 1967 Slush Bowl as a Packers fan, what’s left?
The Slush Bowl video.
Interesting.
I would waste take the time required to post about something I cared nothing about.
...wouldn’t waste...
A thread like this would have been unheard of a few years ago.
But I do sense the worm is turning and the NFL is in for a big surprise as they find fewer and fewer people each year tuning in.
Peyton....
You bet, and the whole setup couldn't be better, with Seattle getting past the estimable Niners, who had dramatically defeated the Packers in icy conditions, and Denver overcoming Brady's uncanny knack for pulling out a win. So you've got two teams who just won their own "superbowls" and a very interesting matchup.
The weather can only make it more interesting.
It's a funny thing. I always watch the Superbowl, but I always forget about the whole thing within a few months, the only exception being the '85 Bears win. Go Bears!
