I just accidently hit upon the ABC Evening news this Sunday...just in time to see a HIT PIECE on Tom Perkins' thoughtful letter to the Wall Street Journal:
http://online.wsj.com/news/articles/SB10001424052702304549504579316913982034286
Then a quick Google search showed the leftist morons have joined ABC in attacking the parallels between the hatefilled Nazis and the hatefilled fascists of the left in the 21st century.
NPR is mocking Perkins bigtime.
I prefer this, because it shows the path we are on.

So now what somebody writes in a letter is considered news?
“Bernays was one of the top propagandists who worked for Woodrow Wilson”
Whose uncle was Sigmund Freud.

Woo hoo!! And the first 28% is in!! Thank you all very much!! |
Yup. Several of the progressives of the day were relatives of Freud.

Regarding your editorial “Censors on Campus” (Jan. 18): Writing from the epicenter of progressive thought, San Francisco, I would call attention to the parallels of fascist Nazi Germany to its war on its “one percent,” namely its Jews, to the progressive war on the American one percent, namely the “rich.”
From the Occupy movement to the demonization of the rich embedded in virtually every word of our local newspaper, the San Francisco Chronicle, I perceive a rising tide of hatred of the successful one percent. There is outraged public reaction to the Google buses carrying technology workers from the city to the peninsula high-tech companies which employ them. We have outrage over the rising real-estate prices which these “techno geeks” can pay. We have, for example, libelous and cruel attacks in the Chronicle on our number-one celebrity, the author Danielle Steel, alleging that she is a “snob” despite the millions she has spent on our city’s homeless and mentally ill over the past decades.
This is a very dangerous drift in our American thinking. Kristallnacht was unthinkable in 1930; is its descendent “progressive” radicalism unthinkable now?

Mr. Perkins is a founder of Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers.
^^^^^
KPCB is a venture capital firm founded in 1972 and Mr Perkins was a cofounder in this highly successful firm. The firm has already released a statement disavowing his views as not being that of the company as a whole. I presume he has been dis-invited from all social gatherings for speaking truth to power!
I know they must lurk.
I’ve been using the term “Kapo” to describe people like John McCain and lo and behold, Grover Al Norquist complained about comments like calling upstanding republicans kapos.
However, Perkins is also 82 years old, and a spokesperson distanced the firm from him in a tweet: Tom Perkins has not been involved in KPCB for years. We were shocked by his views expressed today in the WSJ and do not agree. Perkins and KPCB now appear to have fundamentally split from each other.
As for his former firms reaction to his comments in the Wall Street Journal, Perkins said our philosophies and strategies have drifted so far apart that now my name means little on the door.

That's good to know. I won't blink an eye when the Progressive regime swallows KPCB. Let the OWS crowd defend them.
"Happily, the cancer has been knocked off its feet...
"Life is full of ironies. The PSA test was developed by a Kleiner & Perkins company, Hybritech, in the mid 1970s. How happy I am that Eugene Kleiner and I backed that effort so long ago...
"It's hard to avoid a political aside, so I won't try. A healthy market-driven free economy leads to innovation and the development of breakthroughs, like the PSA test. A highly taxed and highly regulated economy leads to "Death Panels," like the U.S. Preventative Health Service."
From an op/ed in the Wall Street Journal, Prostate Testing and the Death Panel
i like this Perkins fellow :)
Network news has nothing better to fill their 20 minutes a day with than attacking a letter to the editor??
