...The temperature at the start of the history-making game at Dodger Stadium between the Kings and the visiting Anaheim Ducks, rivals separated by 31 miles of interstate, was 61 degrees with a slight breeze. The balmy weather notwithstanding, it was easy to get the chills during the first regular-season outdoor hockey game in California, won by the Ducks in a 3-0 shutout. ...

By the time the game started, the crowd of 54,099 was in full roar, with “Go Kings Go” cries followed by chants of “Beat L.A.” ...

I don’t know ES it seem weird

that NHL Hockey game was taken PLACE in Dodger stadium

Went to Pittsburgh to see the Penguins beat Montreal on Wednesday. Got home Thursday in time to see them beat the Islanders.

Then they lost in Dallas 3-0 (last time they got shut out by Dallas was a 0-0 tie in '98)

Watched my local AHL team, the Hershey Bears, win on Saturday and again tonight (beat the baby Pens 2-0) making it 8 straight home wins for the Bears.

All in all, it's been a great week for hockey!

having been to many a baseball game there as a kid - it is weird to see
