As I write this, some patriotic American is expressing his love of the Second Amendment at a mall in Columbia, Md.

It's retards like the clown that wrote this who should be prohibited from ever owning guns. The boy ain't right in the head.

Inconvenience is a silly reason to block voter ID laws.

Children should never be allowed near a word processor.

Inconvenience is a silly reason not to prevent any random resident to use a car to drive to a bank
Every day, dozens of bank robberies occur with the use of a car.
Some even result in fatalities!

How many people drive to a bank each day?
A tiny minority!

This isn't about taking anyone's guns away. It isn't about preventing anyone from buying and owning the most obscene weapons, weapons the founders would never have envisioned.

No bias there.

*** It isn’t about preventing anyone from buying and owning the most obscene weapons, weapons the founders would never have envisioned.****

Would they prefer the killer had used a Claymore broadsword, in use when the Founding Fathers wrote the Constitution?

As I write this, some patriotic American psychotic moron is expressing his love of the Second Amendment murdering his ex and her new boyfriend, then ending his worthless life at a mall in Columbia, Md.

Citizens voting is a right AND a privilege. Bringing a legitimate ID to the voting place is the least one should have to do to assure honest voting across the land. How anyone can see it otherwise is outside the realm of common sense.

The well-known Chicago way of conducting an election is having its way with America.

There’s a huge possibility that the Chicago way of elections (vote early vote often, vote Daley) is how the Manchurian candidate got elected to Congress in Illinois in the first place. From that his handlers parlayed the man with a complexion into the national spotlight and used the Chicago way to get him elected president.

Let’s give everyone a background check. that way we’ll know if they are qualified to vote, hold a job around children or the elderly, who we can trust with money and who we can’t, and yeah if they can shoot well with a handgun or rifle. Those who can’t shouldn’t be allowed to own ammunition.

"If you're afraid of the government knowing you own a gun, I don't see anything about that anywhere in the Constitution. If we Americans ever did have the right to live secretly, it has been gone for a long time. A really long time."

To know that there are people in this country who actually think this drives me to despair.

If our standing army has it, then the citizens who empowered that army should have it, too.

GUNMAN IN MALL SHOOTING HAD NO CRIMINAL RECORD

“There are a lot of unanswered questions,” McMahon said at a news conference. Aguilar purchased the shotgun legally last month at a store in neighboring Montgomery County.

From the linked article: "If we Americans ever did have the right to live secretly, it has been gone for a long time."

And yet don't these same people assure us that the right to privacy is what justified the killing of 50 million unborn people?

The only thing that keeps a liberal's head from exploding is the thickness of his cranium.

the founders would never have envisioned.
The founders envisioned "progress of science and useful arts.” You could look it up. They also envisioned amendments to the Constitution; you could look that up, too. So I guess you need to get busy and convince Congress that it is “necessary” because of the particular progress you mention. If it’s “necessary,” it shouldn’t be hard to get a simple majority in 3/4 of the states.

'Inconvenience' a silly reason to block background checks

Well, you won't accept any of the real reasons, so what do you suggest people use?

Besides, you guys are always claiming the slightest "inconvenience" to your dead and/or illegal alien voting constituency constitutes disenfranchising them, so why isn't it adequate to protect an enumerated civil right?? (Don't have a car, agoraphobic and won't go to town, can't read, can't afford $4 for a photo ID, etc.)

It isn't even about those poor, sad men who believe they need state-of-the-art weaponry if the time ever comes to overthrow the government.

I don't think it's so much about "overthrowing" the goobermint as being able to resist should the goobermint try to overthrow THEM.
