Fat Head

VS

Super size me Subtitulado 1-10 2004

Sorry this one you will have to follow the links it is in English

TOPICS: Health/Medicine
KEYWORDS: atkins; atkinsdiet; fathead; foodwar; highprotein; lowcarb; supersizeme
While most people saw the documentary Super Size Me as an expose of the fast food industry, comedian and former health writer Tom Naughton saw it as a dare: He'd show that you could lose weight on a diet of burgers and fries. In addition to chronicling Naughton's weight drop, the film provides interviews with doctors, nutritionists and others to drive home his thesis that most of what we know about "healthy eating" is wrong.

I’ve watched this documentary several times. I found it very informative, and it points out the scare tactics that are commonly used by idiots like Spurlock.

Spurlock is definitely dishonest.

But he's a liberal, so hence he's given a pass.

Betcha a dollar that "Fat Head" wasn't even allowed at a prestigious film festival.

This is not a left or right issues is it the health of our nation and sometimes can be misunderstood of what some documents are getting at but our free enterprise to chose if we want to eat the industrial foods or go back to basic should be an option for all an not force into Monsanto monopoly way of life.

Let the educated consumer have a choice to chose what is best for their body!

Many of these documentaries can be found on YouTube for free for short periods at a time, some are on Netflix or on Amazon or can rent for a small like $2.00 really it more enlightenment on how certain people have infiltrated our government to control our foods. If they can do this to our military how so many of our best are being malign and ousted it been going on since the 80’s ridding America of the family farms for the corporate take over.

These are people just like us working hard when their property is confiscated by our government.

It was a good expose of the BS in the super size me movie. The guy that made super size was a vegan. The best thing is to eat like your grandparents and do the opposite of what the government says.

The best thing is to eat like your grandparents

Yup...meats, vegetables, fruits, starches, coffee, tea...

...and do the opposite of what the government says.

After I developed type II diabetes from basically eating according to the government and quite frankly poor food choices like soda, danish, lots of bread...

I started really looking into what I was putting in my body...they do say "you are what you eat"...

One would have to think either the giant food corp are writing the nutritional guidelines or the government has an agenda...

I find it hard to believe what the government passes off as good nutrition is simply an incompetence issue...

In “Super Size Me” Spurlock did include testimony from one man who said he’d subsisted on an all-McDonald’s diet and maintained a normal, healthy weight.

Spurlock himself (experimenting with the McDonald’s diet) was eating far in excess of what any normal person should have eaten.

In Fat Head, the guy counted up exactly what Spurlock claimed he ate in calories.

Spurlock HAD to be taking in more calories than he got from just McDonalds.

I don't think Spurlock was a vegan. He girlfriend was. At one point in Super Size Me, he says "I like meat!".

He just didn't like McDonalds because he is an anti-corporation liberal and wanted to make them look bad.
