LANSING, Mich. (AP) - An anti-violence advocacy group says black Michigan residents are slain at one of the highest rates in the nation and are seven times more likely to be killed than Americans overall.
The Washington-based Violence Policy Center said Thursday that 31.5 of every 100,000 African Americans in Michigan was a homicide victim in 2011. That's third-highest in the country, behind Nebraska's 34.4 and Missouri's rate of 33.4 per 100,000.
Michigan's black homicide victimization rate is nearly twice the national rate for blacks of 17.5 per 100,000. The rate for all Americans is 4.4 per 100,000.

I admit I’m surprised about Nebraska. Michigan makes sense, because of Detroit, etc. Missouri I could see, too, though I wouldn’t have thought them top 3. But Nebraska honestly surprised me.
The murder rate is on its way down in Detroit.
Unfortunately if our governor gets his way he’ll dump 50,000 new immigrants of various ethnicity into the city and give the mixing bowl a good hard stir.
This is because Nebraska doesn't have high total murders, but the few they do have are high per capita numbers of blacks,

In Nebraska some of Obama’s sons murdered a pizza delivery for a few dollars.
In Missouri Obama’s sons set a white kid on fire.

I couldn’t believe it when I heard the Governor make such an asinine proposal. Real unemployment at 13+ %, highest rate ever of food stamps. Medicaid, SSI claims and this idiot wants to haul in a bunch of turd world Savages to do what?
In Milwaukee there is a problem when some welfare queens moved there from Chicago.
Our governor is almost as bad as Debbie Stabenow, maybe worse because Snyder pretended to be a Republican.
It will actually be used to pretend the crime rate has gone down. It is still a bad idea if it hurts local people finding jobs.
As poor blacks move to other areas to live the intermediate crime rate of hispanics (or whatever predominate ethnicity)will lower the overall crime rate. With New York a lot of poor blacks moved to Newark or upstate. Immigrants replaced some blacks.
Gary Johnson when he advocates for illegals ignores the fact that blacks are high, Hispanics are medium, Whites are low and Asians are very low on the crime rate scale.
Give it back to the Indians. Pontiac fought to drive the English out back in the 1760s. What he could not do the Blacks have succeeded at.
