DD: "I'm on My Way!"
The Captain must have a young deckhand.
Is Captain going to find Tenille II?
What about their soon expected next smash hit 45?
They actually moved to the town my parents retired to a few years ago. My folks met Tenille a few times, but they said the Captain was kind of a recluse and didn’t get around much.
Yes, I suspect something like that. He has been ill for several years.
It’s been 40+ years, you’d think he would have made it to Admiral by now.
Not too shabby
So was I. About 2 days ago. And I hadn't heard or read anything about them in years.
Neil Sedaka co-wrote Love Will Keep Us Together, *in my best Johnny Carson voice* “I did not know that.”

Interview from 2007. They discuss the longevity of their marriage and other stuff.
40 years of "muskrat love" can do that to a marriage ...
It is possible that this divorce might be “on paper” only, for health insurance reasons or as a means to keep the state/feds from draining every cent they have left as a married couple.
I hesitate to admit this, but I saw the Cap't & his wife perform in Tahoe (there wasn't anything else to do, honest) decades ago.
There was a little shadow puppet-type pantomime of two muskrats at the time of the synthesizer interlude where one of the rodents, presumably the male, had an gigantic erection. Provoked a ripple of uncomfortable laughter.
Maybe thats what the prince was referring to.

Probably the most successful husband and wife lounge act ever. American women just adored that awful crap.
Can hardly believe they made it to the bigtime with that schtick, but the late 1970s was an intensely weird time in the USA.
Lol. I actually heard Johnny (seriously).
The song does sound just like a typical Neil Sedaka song. I saw him in 2010 at a free outdoor concert in Coney Island, Brooklyn. Brenda Lee was the other act that night.
