Cops need the cooperation of the communities they police. The communities need cops.

The breakdown of this relationship is happening.

Lots of posters here seem to be working hard for this breadown.

Lots of posters here are realizing just how selectively "the law" is applied, and just how lawless government agents have become.

It easy work.

The Police institutions need to change expectations. The public relations disaster that is Law Enforcement today was created by Law Enforcement training standards and behavioral expectations.

Law Enforcement needs to fix itself. They have plenty of conventions and communication in that world to do it too. If they were so inclined.

Until police tyranny and brutality visit you and yours.

Then your eyes will be opened like mine were.

And you will discover, like I am, that it is too late for you and yours to expect any possibility of justice.

The breakdown of this relationship is happening without our input. Cops are increasingly militarized with a us verses them attitude. Most cops take the job because of their ego and they like being on a power trip.

So, this breakdown of our constitutional rights is the fault of freedom loving people, eh?

But cops aren’t? I shouldn’t notice when cops kill or hurt innocent people? I shouldn’t notice that cops feel that they should get away with it. I shouldn’t notice bad attitudes?
When cops shoot at newspaper ladies and walk, people notice. Cops have no one to blame but themselves for their reputation.
