mine was RED 2, which I didn’t see in the theater. I was an enjoyable follow up to REDS
That’s a really funny movie. We have it on DVD.
Hope finally gets Lamour!
I remember seeing that movie a long time ago. It was really funny. Bob Hope was really, really good.
Indeed. He also gets her in “They Got Me Covered”, one of my favorite Hope films where he’s a WWII foreign correspondent.
This movie is also available for free if you have the Amazon Prime account
We have Netflix streaming, but we bought “My Favorite Brunette” for $3 or so at Walmart before Netflix opened. Our teenage sons went through a phase of watching old comedies: all the Bob Hope pictures, and Laurel and Hardy.
Happy to read about love of Bob Hope comedies being passed to younger generations.
Do you remember what some of their favorite ones were?
P.S. I highly recommend “Monsieur Beaucaire”.
Its free everywhere. The movie is in public domain.

It’s one of the films that has fallen into the public domain after its copyright wasn’t renewed.
They loved “Road to Morocco” and “Laurel and Hardy Meet Frankenstein” and “Laurel and Hardy Meet the Mummy.” I think slapstick appealed more than subtle humor ;-).
Netflix doesn’t have “Monsieur Beaucaire” available.
That’s too bad. It’s really a funny comedy swashbuckler set in 18th century France and Spain.
I also like his movies with Lucille Ball-
“Critic’s Choice”

and
“Sorrowful Jones”

I will be watching this in a bit.
Taking a break from Korean shows “Potato Star” and “One Well Raised Daughter”
I know I’ve seen one of Bob Hope’s movies with Lucille Ball, but I don’t recall which. She was a classic beauty, but you can only really see it in still photos.
omg... Arnold Swartzensomething as a ping pong player... weird ad before the video...
LOL!
I watched a country music video earlier today, and Kathleen climbed on my lap, pointed at the screen, and demanded, “The elks now!” Tom plays her an elk-bugling video at least once a day.
“..takes brains, courage and a gun... and I had a gun”
lol
