A Jennings resident claims one of his pit bulldogs was shot to death for no reason by a Jefferson Davis Parish Sheriff's Deputy.
Jeff Davis Sheriff Ivy Woods told KPLc that the shooting happened Thursday as a deputy was on a call in the area where Jacob Authement lives. The deputy was responding to a complaint from neighbors about four-wheelers being driven in the area.

I didn’t eat the meatloaf, that was the cat. Yeah, the cat, that’s the ticket. Oh, and he charged all those “Dogs Gone Wild” videos to your credit card to incriminate me, yeah...
7 pit bulls.
Yeah, that’s not a problem.
No, no Mom, I would never climb on the table and scarf down the entire tureen of chicken and dumplings. Must have been some other dog.
Of course I didn't take the entire bag of clothes pins and hide them in my house. They must have climbed in on their own.
Yep, I have been sitting here on the floor all day. No, I didn't get up in the chair and pull off the afghan. Had to have been the wind that blew it off.
Next time I feel “threatened” by a cop I know what to do.
I’m just saying things you don’t like and that scares you.
It’s not indicative of ALL pits - it is indicative of too many based on the number of people they kill and maim each year. There is no test to tell the pits without this trait from the pits that do have this trait.
I gave an example of genetic selection (the dogs with this surprise attack trait reproduced more often than those pit dogs that didn’t have the trait) therefore it doesn’t matter whether this dog was trained to fight or not - the question is did he inherit the trait.
Oh, brother. Go back and hide under your bed.
Why should I waste my time responding to you - you are incapable of reading my original post and comprehending it and that frustrates so then you name call. Go take a nap while I talk to the other adults.
I generally agree with you on the basics - more info is needed.
I don’t have a cat so they have to scapegoat each other....:)
Your home is obviously infested with gremlins.
:)
They “say” things with their body language to make it seem like they want to play until you get close enough to the fence to grab your arm or face.
They “decline to say” things with their body language to warn you that they are approaching you to attack you because you might run away or prepare to fight. I’ve seen videos where the dog runs purposefully with the head down, tail wagging lazily, only glancing at the person they are running toward before attacking.

I ain’t lion.
(Ha!)
;)
I love dogs. :)
No, you’re saying things that are biologically impossible and your vacation from your normal sense of reality is what’s scaring us.
Meh.
I can take ‘em or leave ‘em.
:D
I see that you couldn’t resist posting pictures of yourself again. Hard for you to stop making posts like this about yourself, isn’t it?
Some of us post about dogs for other reasons than posting pictures of ourselves. This post is not about you or your dog, it’s whether the shooting was justified or not.
I’ve seen so many pictures of you and your dogs by now, but it never changes the issue. I think more info is needed re this shooting and pits have extensive documented killings and maimings that you don’t care about and can’t refute, but just seem to bring out the jokes in you. So laugh it up.
