Evening Jonny
Finally able to participate for this night.
Keep up with thread so although not commenting enjoy the posts by all
I know I am in the minority but I like Alex! I love Neon Trees and hope he does this well.
Alex could hide a couple rolls of nickels in those nostrils
I think he’s incredibly talented. Maybe the most talented of all of them. And he’s generally pretty solid with what he does...
Eh...not liking this! First performance of his I haven’t liked!
I’ll rely on your critique....never heard of them or heard this song....
He’s a strange looking fella.... quirky... artist guy. I always think of Elvis Costello when he sings....
I am waiting with baited breath, wondering what tune Caleb is gonna hit us with.....I am also hoping Pinky NAILS it with a great rock tune
This is so bad....so, so awful. CJ just no
Agree. The judges gave politically correct feedback instead of just saying “ that sucked”
Alex resembles a closeted Lance Bass.
I love Elvis Costello too! I like quirky!
Hey patriotspride.... long time no see...
In other words, he has a great voice for radio ;-)
Didn’t know the song he was singing was rock... his performance was fine, wasn’t interesting, and wasn’t annoying.
Elvis Costello did a great version of Patsy Cline “She’s Got You”. That’s what this kid needs to do for the country song tonight.... :)
He didnt sing in tune AND... he didnt perform. He cant really play that guitar. He didnt move. It was BLAH...
Agree K. Good to online tonight
He does a little.
Great idea! Ah Patsy Cline! Love her!
Something different from him, finally. No sleepy angst-ridden coffee house crap.
Neon Trees' "Animal". Unfamiliar with this one too, but it's at least upbeat.
"I want something peppy, something happy, something up-tempo"
Ye olde commercial break ...
Keith: I wanted you to release a bit more, Alex. Didn't feel like you were dominating in that song. Looking forward to your second song.
[audience boos]
Jlo: I'll get booed too. Not because I didn't like it ... I expected so much. Felt like something was missing from you. Rock & Roll is about letting go (but you didn't).
Harry: You're really consistent. Sensitive, thoughtful performer. At this point, it's not safe to say you get a pass, but kinda do. Sounded like you couldn't get centered. This is the first time I've heard you sing an upbeat song. Now I know you can do it. Wasn't your best, but it's okay.
Here comes Caleb.
This is his niche. he should ROCK this.
