A female driver was stunned after she looked up to see who had crashed into her car and saw there was a Chihuahua behind the wheel.
Tabitha Ormaechea was driving in Spokane, in the US state of Washington, when her tyre was hit by another vehicle.
When she looked to see who the offender was she was confused after spotting a pooch.
[There was] just a little dog up on the steering wheel peeking over, looking at me, she told KREM-TV.
I didnt know if I was crazy, or if this little dog had taken a joyride.
It turned out the car belonged to Jason Martinez and it had been commandeered (accidentally knocked out of gear) by Toby the Chihuahua, while his owner had popped into a shop.
Fortunately no-one was hurt.

In the news the other night the dog’s owner said it was the SECOND time the dog had done this! “Yeah, I’m going to get a leash for him.”

Wow, what a waste of time.
Two minutes and 14 seconds to tell you that a dog knocked a parked car out of gear, and it rolled into another car.
No wonder some of us don’t watch TV.

If the dog knocked the car “out of gear”, how could it move?
The moron who wrote this meant “knocked it into drive”.
But then I suspect many people these days don’t even know what a gear is.

They give drivers licences to anyone now.
Especially if they're Mexican.

Maybe things have changed but we used to leave it in gear to park and knocking it into neutral or pushing in the clutch would get it rolling, if you were parked.
