I still haven’t gotten around to messing with my sprouted onion, it’s been sprouted so long, it’s probably a lost cause.
If your sprout is still green, there may still be hope, as it indicates to me that the baby onion is thriving on the food provided by the parent onion.
The one I planted has been growing in height, so that’s exciting. My little sweet potato sprout actually has developed two tiny leaves, and I discovered another one of the harvest potatoes sprouting this morning. Not sure when or if I’ll try to get it into growth medium.
