SF will also be in the 50’s.

That would be great if the game were in SF, but it's in Seattle.

My bad, I meant to write SEA. That’s the late game though so it will probably be colder during the game, the low is 38.

I think you’re a little deluded. My preferences are my business, and I’m not going to suddenly start liking the Patriots, the Broncos, the 49ers, or some other team just because you seem to set that forth as a criteria for a conservative outlook.

I ran into Jacqueline Bisset at Harrods in London once back in the 90s. She was most gracious. And still damn beautiful.

I remember watching the movie “Class” in the 80s when I was in high school and wishing I could be Andrew McCarthy.

No. I’m not deluded.

You sound like a 9 year old kid (or a liberal) who thinks it is a bad thing that a team might win it when so many other championship-needy teams are deserving of a trophy simply because they have won it less often.

The same mindset that calls out for Little League teams not to keep score, and everyone gets a trophy.

Gee, who does that sound like? To each according to their NEED, and you sound like you are following a team that you think NEEDS one. So they should get it, in your mind.

Hahahahahahaha!

It would be a lot funnier if some people didn’t actually really BELIEVE what they say.

“It was the refs!”

“The league is throwing the games deliberately for a team because it is a bigger market!”

Well, I did take a tour of the NFL headquarters a few years back...they do have a huge mission control-like room, and were feeding instructions to the refs via earpieces, and I saw copies of the faxed instructions on who should win each game that are sent to each referee team. So, maybe they are onto something, then...:)

Correct. Emotionally, I pull for the underdog. How, pray tell, does that make me a socialist?

For heavens sake, we're talking about sports - entertainment! - not social policy here. THAT, my friend - your inability to make the distinction - is why you are deluded.

Have a nice day.

Illinois showoffs!!!

Although, the picks I made while out of the country don’t count, so I’m 3/4.

Mel “missed tackle” Tucker: Bad move by TRESTMAN!.

I told you they wouldn’t fire Mel Tucker. I guess they are satisfied being the worst defense of all time...

Jacqueline Bisset circa 1968 was perfect in:

“The Detective” with the Chairman of the Board, Francis Albert Sinatra

...and...

“Bullitt” with the coolest cat ever, Steve McQueen

I would say deluded is making the statement that the league fixes the games to get the right matchup.

But words just don’t mean anything, I guess. You can disown nearly anything by saying “Hey...I was just talking about ‘X’ and it wasn’t really important...”

So, in that light, this whole conversation is meaningless.

When one is in a conversation with someone who can make an unprovable and preposterous statement, let is stand, and at the same time criticize someone else for actually reading what they wrote and commenting on it, well, that is the time to end the discussion.

So I agree with you on this: “Have a nice day.”

I have no problem with excellence prevailing. I have no dog in the fight. They were horrible no calls in the game that essentially guaranteed what the League wanted.

Oh, so the league wanted San Francisco to win, that's why those early calls were so bad. Or, the league wanted Seattle to win, or Denver....

Rii-iiight. The league just sends the message to the refs, and the outcome is determined.

I see, wow, that's just breelliant, why didn't I think of that?.

No prob, I just couldn’t make sense of what you were getting at in response to my original post. Apologies back at you. Three more games. Have at it.

My point was I thought that the officiating was poor enough to influence the outcome of the games, despite the probabilities of the eventual outcome.

Also you better believe the NFL is happy about the outcome.

"...You know who I think is going to be a real, honest to goodness superstar? Jaime Collins. Which is great, because I don’t think we will see Spikes again in a Patriots uniform..."

Boy, did I call it right for Jaimie Collins last weekend, he had a big game.
